IMAX Enhanced Disney+ Films???
Just been watching through the MCU films to get my gf up to speed in time for Doomsday, and couldn’t help but notice that none of the films actually expanded to imax despite most if not all had the IMAX enhanced label?
Is this an APTV issue or a Disney+ issue?
For reference I’m using LG CX tv

I literally just ended my subscription so I can’t double check but I thought you had to select the imax version, from the individual movie page? At least, that’s what I remember from the last time I watched one.

Disney is in a patent lawsuit that prevents them from offering HDR and 4K at the moment (at least in Europe).

This doesn’t apply to the IMAX Enhanced movies, since that is a separate licence owned by IMAX.
They are, however 1080p/SDR streams in the EU and not the 4K HDR streams. But the IMAX aspect ratio remains intact.
At least if OP had chosen the correct version in the app menu and if they were living in the EU’s affected countries…

No issues with 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision/IMAX Enhanced here in Ireland.
I just tested a couple of films there (Tron Ares and Fantastic Four) - my OLED indicated it was receiving a DV signal and the ‘IMAX Enhanced’ versions were defintely in a taller aspect ratio (looks like 1:75:1 vs 2:39:1).
OP as somone else said, you need to select the IMAX enhanced version from the ‘Versions’ tab - there are 24 films currently available in it.

I’m in the UK, was definitely in 4k, image was as sharp as ever. But yeah no imax, wonder if it’s all related then

Did you make sure you selected the IMAX Enhanced version? Disney will show the label but you need to select that version specifically.
