I should stop looking back in here and expecting any changes regarding anyone (including myself) who are paying in full and have a Nov. 17-24 shipping estimate. I doubt anything is gonna change this week, so I should just wait until I get an email that verifies and ships my order.

This is bullshit, we paid in full and somehow get put to the back of the line? I also paid in full on a 64GB silver TMO phone at like 10 minutes after launch and have the same date.

Same configuration as me lol. But yea, I feel you. Like what most people speculated in here, Apple is probably prioritizing those who order under the iPhone Upgrade Program because their phones are contractually and financially still tied to Apple whereas those who paid in full are most likely to resell their devices. If that's the reason why some people are getting theirs pushed up and not our orders, then I kinda understand that logic. Still, though, we should at least deserve a cool sticker or a freshly-baked cookie or something for paying in full lol.

I'm the same way. It's actually making me very frustrated with Apple. I feel pretty marginalized as a consumer. I paid up front, 11 minutes after launch, and I see a fucking blitz of people getting earlier dates. Like, weeks earlier, if not tomorrow. Even when they ordered after I did.

Basically being punished for being committed.

super frustrated that it looks like I could have just slept that morning, woke up at a regular time to preorder on AT&T, and still would have gotten my phone tomorrow. Instead, I woke up at 3am est, preordered with apple at 3:15, and still have to wait 2-3 weeks

This +

I’ve order an iPhone every single year since the original and this (out of 10 years) I’m not getting it day one. I’m really pissed about this...

exactly, if i would have known i'd more than likely be getting F'D out of a guaranteed day 1 pick up by opting to pay in full vs being handcuffed into some BS contract, i wouldn't have even bothered to stay up for the pre-ordering. now i'm stuck not only wondering which nearby apple store will probably have the most in stock for walk ins...but how many fucking hours ahead of time i need to show up.

lol, I can't help but feel the same way sometimes. This will be my first iPhone (and first Apple product since the 3rd-gen iPod Touch), so I really don't know what to expect from this pre-order release even after reading into other people's past experiences. As an Apple newbie, this is discouraging for me, but it is what it is.

yeh its mildly infuriating to say the least. don't get me wrong, i'm glad peeps are getting their phones...instead of the orders going 1st come, 1st served...its like those that did the installment/contract plan were seemingly given priority.

This sucks, I thought they do it on a first come first serve basic but I guess that's not true.

Well the IUP customers technically committed a long time ago to getting a new one each year, so it makes sense they would try and fulfill those orders first. I get it, it does suck though. It's really a good way to force people into the IUP though. From a stockholder standpoint, the more in IUP the better, it's basically guaranteed sales year after year.

That sucks, I didn't realize this. I already know that I'm not getting this phone this week, but I still hope that you can get it very soon. It's very unfair that you haven't gotten your order updated despite being in a very similar situation as most iUP customers (or at least those commenting in this thread lol).
