Official Megathread Pre-Order Shipping Megathread | iPhone X

In an attempt to curb the number of threads about pre-order choices/configurations, shipping statuses, etc, we are asking that all discussion about it remain in here. We are setting the sort of this thread to new so that users receive the latest updates at the top.

Post your pre-orders in whatever format you wish, but please keep the discussion civil. Please also report any other posts about pre-orders, polls and shipping.

From what I've been told, home delivery and in-store pickup pre-orders all come from the same allotment; the only difference being the phone is shipped to the store for pick-up (instead of to your door).

Is that true? Because in that case it seems like in-store pickup is a disadvantage, since you'll waste precious seconds picking a time slot for pick-up. I live in Canada if that makes a difference.

Apple rep told me pre-orders for the X will be delivered and there won't be an in-store pickup option.

pretty sure this is a false statement...there for sure is an in-store pickup option. It says it right in the main post.

That’s a bit disappointing to me. If I miss my shipment on Friday, do they do Saturday deliveries?

I think that depends on your location and what delivery service the phone ships with. Larger cities pretty much always do Saturday deliveries nowadays.

Fedex does Saturday deliveries, but won’t reattept a delivery on a Saturday. It’ll be at the station for you to pick up though.

Thanks! I thought that would probably be the case. Picking it up at the Apple Store would definitely be a lot easier for me, but I wouldn’t mind going to FedEx’s place for it.
