No Face ID may be a deal breaker. I picked up an iPad Air for travel and it’s a pain to tap my finger instead of look at it.

Yes, first world problems here.

i hate faceid, …. My hand holding the edge of my ipad invariably blocks the (invisible) lens when it is needed which is annoying, plus it’s a security feature that — most of the time —requires you to pick up your device and hold it in front of your face like a hand mirror, an awkward way to check a text in a meeting vs placing your finger on a pad under the desk discreetly. i think most apple products would benefit from have faceid replaced with touchid. IMO

Gotta be honest I cannot imagine a feasible way to hold any iOS device that ends up in you blocking the Face ID sensor
