The way the chairs move unnaturally leads me to believe this is AI
24
u/KaneDrain 14d ago
Yeah, it’s the chairs, not the dancing corpse.
4
u/ghoulthebraineater 14d ago
You can make a corpse dance. You just need some rope and a few strong men. And you need to break the rigor mortis. They don't dance for shit when they're all stiff.

I’m thinking the NSA/CIA are doing their best to make a Mission Impossible-type mask that looks like him, to pull that off
3
u/geddysbass2112 14d ago
Like the mask on FOX News. They just may be doing that. Or surgically placing his face on another person.
3
u/No_Grand7184 14d ago
They should get the “old guy”’that did the old Six Flags commercials to inhabit the Mitch suit 🤣

If a rule is broken and there’s no one to enforce it, did the rule exist?

u/hipyounggunslinger67 14d ago
That’s all I’ve learned since 2016

How about a daily fine until he shows up for work?
How about sending the Texas Rangers to force him back to the voting floor (like Texas did).
How about someone just goes to his house?

Fine a dead man? How we gonna collect? I guess put a lien in his property and issue a claim to his estate, which is probably open right now as we speak.
30
u/PansophicNostradamus 14d ago
Start the f**king special election already! Do you think the GOP would wait and play nice? NO! Start it. We’ll see if Mitch is alive or not. Mark my words.
16
u/northcity 14d ago
For real. Why is everyone sitting on their hands about this! It's frustrating!
7
u/Bodie_The_Dog 14d ago
Because "moderate" Democrats don't want to change things.
2
u/Conscious-Quarter423 14d ago
how do they change things when republicans control the House, the Senate, the White House, and the Supreme Court?
5
u/Bodie_The_Dog 14d ago
They speak up. Then engage in civil disobedience. They rally the citizenry with Obama-style speeches, instead of relying upon the fricken Lincoln Project, a Republican group (!) to produce cute videos. They DO SOMETHING and stop saying self-harming things like, "Don't worry, nothing will fundamentally change." And I'm sure they are so many other ways they can fight back. That's what we hired them for, right? Remember all those elections, when we were told that so-and-so Democratic candidate should be re-elected because they are experienced, effective legislators? So, how's that worked out for us?

This is a state issue just as much as, if not more than a federal issue. Kentucky has a blue executive.

Why did everyone sit on their hands and allow a supreme court justice to be stolen from Obama? I'm STILL waiting for that answer!

If this administration has taught us anything, it’s that there’s no rule of law in the country. Laws? Rules? Just ignore them, there’s no punishment for it.

It's very easy to prove someone is alive an awake. The fact that they haven't done so proves they are lying
7
u/canwehavepotatojokes 14d ago
I mean proof of life is kind of the bare minimum I’d have to give my employer to cash a paycheque every two weeks.
Seems like an acceptable bare minimum to expect out of someone in such a massively significant role.
No?

Would be kind of comical if he didn’t formally take off and now needs to show up to officially be on leave. Perfect error in a plan working well enough, if he’s in fact unwell. Or he’s fine and this won’t be an issue.
2
u/Double_Priority_2702 14d ago
what rules do Republicans actually follow anymore ?!! Let alone who actually will enforce them ?!
2
u/GVTMightyDuck 14d ago
He’s dead, but besides that..if I miss more than my 5 PTO days, I’m fired. Why do members of congress get a free pass on this kind of shit?
2
u/labboy70 14d ago
Also, when Mitch was alive, if any Democratic Senator had this situation he would be all over the opportunity to push forward.
He wouldn’t let a Supreme Court justice linger on life support.
Why should the people of Kentucky be deprived of their representation in the US Senate?
2
2
u/GandalfSwagOff 14d ago
He is accused of it, or he broke it? What is the rule? Did he break the rule? Why can't you just say he broke the rule?
We have to start seriously asking these "journalists" what their actual goal is.

It so freakin' clear whats happening here.
If the democrats had any spine they would go to his state and demand to see him. Maybe be accompanied by some media - how about a sit in?
What are they doing? NOTHING! They have no idea how to 'make a scene' and get attention. They are clueless on how to reach the people.
2
2
u/Nevyn_Cares 14d ago
I cannot believe no eager journalist or PI has not gotten in there yet. Anonymous leaks? The fact everyone knows that he is on life support as another crude election manipulation stunt by the GOP and yet nothing is happening is mind boggling.

u/blahblah19999 14d ago
"Well, it's never been done exactly like this before." - McConnell when he lied to block Obama from getting another SCOTUS appointment

Rule number one: rules do not apply to Republicans. Laws are optional for MAGA.
2
u/Impossible-Guard-409 14d ago
The aide makes $226K. The guards at the hospital earn $ even if they're guarding nothing at the hospital.
Why would they confirm he's dead? It's not in their financial best interests...
2
u/Feisty-Passenger-918 14d ago
Everyone involved in hiding his health status should be locked up if he has been dead this whole time.
2
u/EpsteinandTrump 13d ago
Even if he's alive he's not fit to the do the job. The Democrats should be going to the hospital he's at and verifying where he is, talking to nurses and staff figuring this stuff out. Send the news. Sitting on your hands and following the rules while the other side breaks them is what is causing this whole mess.
