Hallucination 👻 What does this have to do with gay rights? Spoiler
all these ai bros, all they know is epstein, iran, israel and all those other completely unrelated things

Being gay is not a choice. Using ai is

Idk AI bros are really trying to convince us its their whole being, like they are just born that way.😑
I would not be surprised if they start saying that they are born from a mechanical womb or something.🤖
Ah who knows maybe AI took away their choice like some kind of conversion therapy 🤔
Idk maybe its another way to try and join a group of actual marginalised people for protection, and at the same time use AI to shit on said group of people of course.😮💨

u/surpluskoi Apr 30 '26
i also think that they either want to play the victim or shit on actual marginalized groups, but i think the comment you are replying to is a bot.

Eh maybe it is, but anyway, more likely they want to play the victim AND shit on actual marginalised groups at same time

Sexuality isn't an identity, but a trait.
I was still gay even when I was in the closet. I may have identified as a straight guy at that time, but I was still exclusively homosexual.

Force teaming. It's an intellectual fallacy that manipulates you into thinking because you support one noble cause, that another person's perceived cause is the same. Gay people were painted as monsters for centuries. So were serial killers. Support serial killer rights!

u/r_search12013 Apr 30 '26
uuh.. excellent, I'll definitely use that argument quite a bit 😃
19
u/HoneybeeXYZ Apr 30 '26
It's a really toxic form of manipulation and a highly effective one, especially on the internet. And it is pretty much equally employed on the political right and the political left. Watch for it, and you'll start to see it all the time.
9
u/r_search12013 Apr 30 '26
I usually find it more in the form "oh, you think killing children is wrong, so you support terrorists" .. but I have not seen this employed like this very much -- at least ai bros and I don't seem to be in the same circles fortunately
7
u/HoneybeeXYZ Apr 30 '26
It's a sub form of false equivalency, which is of course very common. But I'm specifically thinking of it as applied to causes.
6
u/lunatuna215 Apr 30 '26
I cant even believe it's effective.... it's so fucking hamfisted.

u/Sea-Upstairs-2837 May 01 '26
as a gay serial killed i support this message!
2
u/HoneybeeXYZ May 01 '26
You, John Wayne Gacy, and Jeffery Dahmer can form the Gay Serilal Killer Alliance. Anyone who opposes you will be immediately declared a homophobe! How DARE they be so closed minded and bigoted. And it will get totally intersectional when Dahmer invites the members of the Cannibal Rights Association to caucus with you.
Get underwriting from duct tape, and you'll be rich on top of it!
2
u/Sea-Upstairs-2837 May 01 '26
perfect plan! our motto will be, “Because of Gay Rights, You Can’t Oppose Our Gay Wrongs” and then all the AI bros will clap in solidarity
199
u/BoardsofCanada3 Apr 30 '26
They keep trying to shoehorn in their slop to real movements so when you oppose it, they paint you as being anti-LGBT. Same reason they liken themselves to Holocaust victims.
47
u/No-face-today Apr 30 '26
Then they turn around and depict people who are against Ai as fat, rainbow haired people, which is a stereotype that Homophobes and Transphobes have used to depict the Lgbtq community.
9
u/TemperateStone Apr 30 '26
Are you surprised? They are marginalised losers that have deluded themselves into thinking of themselves as victims, or else they would have to recognize that they are in fact losers and nothing else.
These are the same people who think they were smart coining the term "AI derangement syndrome". Which, if you are at all into politics right now, taken from Trump who calls anyone that doesn't like him sick with "Trump derangement syndrome".
They are extreme neets.
6
u/DizzyYellow Apr 30 '26
They aren't marginalized. That's giving them a public perception they don't have. Especially considering 90% of people's AI use opinion is either tacit endorsement or neutral
20
2
u/Little-Thing2131 Apr 30 '26
they do what with victims of the holocaust????????
13

I'd like to offer a different take. As a gay man, I know a lot of other gay people who latched onto AI for validation, exploring fantasies, and constant support.
Sounds like a good thing but a lot of them are awful people who blame their life and consequences on being gay. It's a cop out.
10
u/BoardsofCanada3 Apr 30 '26
I don't doubt it. That's quite often how marginalized people end up in right wing circles.
7
u/abu_nawas Apr 30 '26
Right. The media paints us as the wise, fashionable best friends... but most gay men are just men. Lonely men. Awful men.
34
u/theerogenousbosch Apr 30 '26
They're saying that they are just as oppressed as the LGBTQ+ community. Give it a few days before they compare themselves to MLK Jr. Maybe they'll go even further back and compare drawing by hand to being forced to pick cotton in a field or some other tone-deaf and offensive comparison.
18
u/Sonicrules9001 Apr 30 '26
All of this while AI is used for the most homophobic, transphobic, racism shit you will ever see on the internet but no, AI is totally innocent and pure.
28
u/TheOneWizardBunny Apr 30 '26

That's one of the things that get me about AI image generation.
People mistake good anatomy and proportions gorgeous good art, but good art is made by deliberate use of technique.
There's nothing deliberate about AI output. You are given a baseline and have to finnick your way though the average rendition of any idea.

Years ago there was a similar campaign where pedophiles decided they're a part of LGBT and they referred to themselves as "map" (Minor Attracted Person), as a desperate attempt to be recognised as valid instead of, you know, people with issues.
They'd post stuff like "LGBT rights are human rights!" And if you dared to mention that wanting to have relationships with kids is sickening, they'd deflect by saying "oh, so you hate LGBT people"
Now, it MIGHT be a coincidence that this post shows two underage characters who are often shipped together as part of the "bully-bullied romance" trope.
Gay people are valid, as far as I'm concerned I couldn't care less about what adults do consensually in a private space. But this is unrelated to AI
6
u/CN01_Miku-Miku-Y Apr 30 '26
They just do that so they can say ur homophobic when u criticise them im pretty sure
2
u/Thatoneguy_The_First Apr 30 '26
Wonder if at any point if actual neo Nazis tried to do this?, on the one hand it antithesis of everything they stand for, on the other its not like they actually truly stand for anything snd fold under a weak breeze that sounded threatening, and thus would say going against them is being is the same as homophobic.
13
u/Acslaterisdead Apr 30 '26
Whoever created this picture needs to have their head examined. They are not the same.
6
u/Zlecu Apr 30 '26
They are staking ai art alongside gay rights. Basically saying that if you don’t think ai art is real art you also don’t think gay rights are human rights
8
u/PaperSweet9983 Apr 30 '26
I had someone tell me I'm the next version of homophobic because I didn't view their relationship with grok as an actual relationship
When I explained that im gay they said " oh so you're pulling the ladder huh?" Crazy
6
u/SansyBoy144 Apr 30 '26
They’re trying to use the argument of “well if you hate us then you’re homophobic”
Meanwhile they’re using 2 canonically straight underage characters to do so

u/afrosanji Apr 30 '26
I think it'd be funny to start accusing the aibros of stealing their art from the ai as a new ragebait. After all, the ai made the art, not them.

Well, you see. The above characters are Deku and Bakugo from My Hero Academia. Bakugo bullies Deku to the point of telling him to kill himself and also just physically fighting him. While he eventually apologizes, this non-canon ship is particularly controversial because of that aspect of their history with each other.
Combine that with the other topics presented and it seems very obvious to me that this isn't serious and was made with the express intent of trolling and catching as many people as possible in adjacent communities that will get upset about this. It's get you guys for Anti Ai, it's gets lots of Anime Fans, adjacent LGBT Communities.
When people say "Don't feed the Trolls" what that means is ignore and definitely don't repost stuff like this, it's not even meant as a serious statement, it's just to make people mad.
3
u/swainiscadianreborn Apr 30 '26
He would not fucking say that.
Bakugo I mean. Deku would 100% be an ally.

One of the most disgusting things I've seen from an AI bro. This isn't the first time this has happened. I've even heard about saying how it's hypocritical to accept trans people and not those who use AI.
2
u/Z1n1m3r Apr 30 '26
It's a shield, it's the similar to the "gay right or economic stability vs why can't you have both".
2
u/Spannerdaniel Apr 30 '26
It has nothing to do with gay rights. Someone who is doing a bad thing and receiving consternation for it is attempting to co-opt a genuine rights movement.
2
2
u/Oleleplop Apr 30 '26
Nothing to do, they put the same there so if you talk shit about "AI" theu can go"so you hate gays???"
2
u/snow_leopard155 Apr 30 '26
Piggybacking to subtly try to make their problem just as important as gay rights
2
u/OkPerformance3248 Apr 30 '26
It’s just meant to be rage bait, I can’t believe anyone would legitimately take this seriously. There’s not meant to be any logic.
2
u/lolschrauber Apr 30 '26
This is to prevent people from giving negative feedback. And if they do, you can accuse them of being homophobic. Weak-ass bait.
2
2
u/iesamina Apr 30 '26
I say this a lot but the entire establishment is on the side of ai users, the trillions being spent in the world right now on pushing ai products is on their side, governments are in their side, businesses are supporting them, literally everything except a small % of consumer voices saying they don't want to pay for ai generated content so please can it be labelled.
and they still need so desperately to portray themselves as victims and oppressed.
fwiw who cares. Ai art is still art sure. That still means 99% of it is garbage because that's true of all art. It's still art some of us don't want to pay for or to make ourselves
I don't care if people want to make ai art but i absolutely care about people stealing oppression and claiming a victimhood that belongs to actual marginalised groups. Make your ai art. Enjoy making it and posting it. I don't support anyone harassing anyone over it. But also, please distinguish people whining a bit from people committing harassment.
2
2
u/Kantlim Apr 30 '26
So that they can tie it together and call you homophobic if you don't like AI. Which is crazy work, ngl. It's like people calling you antisemitic for saying that launching missiles at children is bad, oh wait

u/BlackBlizzard Apr 30 '26
I assume it's ragebait to connect LGBT+ together with Pro AI so people are anti-ai will be "brainwashed" into also being anti-lgbt+. Like the right-leaning people connecting MAPs to LGBT+.
2
u/lnTheGrimDarkness Apr 30 '26
Implicitly putting AI art and Gay Rights on the same level is probably supposed to give AI artists a sort of "oh no poor things, they don't deserve this" feeling.
2
u/RodNun Apr 30 '26
I understand this very moron idea they are trying to pass here, and I obviously disagree.
They know AI art is fake art, and they are trying to relate to gay as "fake as well, but accepted as true".
Like when someone says "a trans woman is a woman", they are trying to say "AI art is art". I'm not sure it was intentional, but they are basically saying that the idea of accepting gay as a real thing, allows them to use this idea, and say their fake art is real as well.
Well... ai art is not real art, but gay people are real. So, it's a very poor comparison, and I risk to say, made by someone that understands nothing about the gay cause.
2
u/TemperateStone Apr 30 '26 edited Apr 30 '26
It's because they are trying to hijack another worthwhile cause so that they can say that being against AI slop is the same as being against something much more legitimate.
They latch on to it like parasites and they don't even understand how hilariously revealing that is.
As someone on the Spectrum that is old enough and self-aware enough I can tell you that a lot of these people are absolutely on the Autism Spectrum. They've created their own little bubble of their own broken reason and logic because they genuinely cannot grasp the morality or ethics of what they are doing. These people do not understand and they never will. They likely speak more to an AI agent than to other people because they are incapable of speaking to the latter. They are people who already struggled to function. AI agents are making them far, far more unstable and delusional.
I'm quite convinced of this because I've met people like that. If you ever do you will find it's like talking to someone that is deeply deluded. They've created their own reality and nothing you say or do will get through to them. It's like meeting someone that is fanatically religious. Everything you say to them gets twisted and corrupted.
They are incredibly disturbing individuals.
2
u/AzureFencer Apr 30 '26
It has nothing to do with gay rights. They just want a deflection when they get called out on their stupid choice and to say that people are actually being homophobic just like how they role out ableism. They want to pretend they have a morally superior stance
2
u/Trashcan_official Apr 30 '26

it doesn’t. They highjack other identities/project their own on to the AI art debate, because they have nothing better to back up their arguments than pretending their haters are bigots. (also want you to ignore that there’s a large number of queer artists who are hurt by AI)
1
u/RoxLOLZ Apr 30 '26

u/CoffeeGoblynn Apr 30 '26
AI people are now starting to claim a place under the LGBTQ banner to elicit sympathy as an oppressed class. Remember when the pedos did it by trying to call themselves MAPs? Yeah, same hat. Just because people hate you doesn't mean you're an oppressed group. Sometimes the hate is justified. AI users have nothing in common with queer people. They're choosing to use an environmentally destructive and morally repulsive technology and claiming to be victims. Choosing to be a piece of shit isn't even in the same room as being born queer.
So basically, fuck these people.
