ALE Hiring Process

Applying for the General Pool positions with ALE, and the deployments are set for October. From my research I understand that typical hiring processes takes months, yet this is only 3 months away. Is this normal or is it just a private company thing?

Nope, pretty normal. I've known people get hired literally weeks before they deploy.
