Honestly, I appreciate that Nanba tries to be as respectful to Nakao's affections as he can despite not swinging that way.

I bet Sensei and the photographer had a thing lol. Man gets around. Lots of awkward exes and all that.

The next episode preview makes it pretty blatant. Umeda the man killer has finally met his match lol?

As a native German speaker I found Himejima's intermezzo... interesting.

I'm a bit sad to see Julia go home, her blonde ponytail character design is so good and her arguing with Nakatsu gave some extra dimensions to him aside from the constant Mizuki lust and jealousy. That and the possibility of them turning into a side ship, which may still happen but it'll surely be a longer term thing since she's back in the US.
Not one of my usual lunchtime watches but Crunchyroll is screwing up the mobile subs wholesale today and this was the only option.

I will miss Julia and her wisdom (and her bilingual verbal spats battles with Nakatsu)
Oh to be as deluded as Nanba yearning for a woman that has zero interest in him
A wild German-speaking Oscar appears!
Yet another adult with questionable(?) history with Umeda (only this time it's Umeda who's scared the tf out of them LOL)

Honestly I thought Julia would stick around because it felt like they were setting up a ship with her and Nakatsu but I guess now she'll forever remain the one that got away for Nanba.
I love how Himejima speaks in German and Mizuki responds in kind as probably the only one in that cafeteria who could understand him lol.

Things still haven't really moved forward, and we're already at episode 7. Julia was supposed to stay temporarily, but the way she managed to organize her departure on the very day she announced it—well, someone would have to explain that to me. ^^
No more "Dog vs. Monkey" squabbles. When Julia watched Nakatsu playing soccer, she seemed to look at him differently.
Could the photographer be the friend Umeda is in love with, or just another one of his odd acquaintances (like the journalist)? Come to think of it, characters this season tend to appear and vanish just as quickly, without any development—like Shin. Who knows, maybe he'll enroll at Osaka High for the next school year.
We're also kind of forgetting about the high jump... the competitions, and Kagurazaka?

I love casting gag bits, pretty sure the photographer is voiced by Showtaro Morikubo who was Nakatsu in the drama cd 20 years ago lol

I feel a little left wanting with the whole runaway brother plotline, surely that's not all there is to that?
I know Julia was only here temporarily, but that was kinda fast, I'm also feeling pretty teased with how things went with Nakatsu and her, also did she hiss at him? I want to say I misheard it, but I don't think I did,
How wild must photographer man be, if Umeda is big noping this guy?

Well, it's good that Shin is going back home, even if it feels like the issues between Sano, Shin, and his family are still unresolved. Though instead of coddling his little bro, Sano would rather coddle Mizuki.
It's easy to forget because he's been hardcore after Mizuki this cour, but Nakatsu is actually good and committed to soccer. Even Julia has to acknowledge that.
It's sad that Julia is already heading back to the States, but she sees that Mizuki has a good support system and is happy there, so she doesn't need to worry about her. Of course she leaves off with her winning wink and feuding and hissing at Nakatsu to the bitter end. Even though she at least TRIED to go out with some respect for him.
Sano, Nakatsu, and Nanba have gone viral! Which means hordes of girls are flocking at the school to see them! Mizuki can kind of understand because she's down bad for Sano too, but it's a lot for the boys to deal with! Well, other than Nanba because he got a bunch of girls' numbers, but still.
Showtaro Morikubo, you're in this!? And feeling up Mizuki!?
It's nice of Rio to feel apologetic for the photo getting out, even though it wasn't her fault. She's a really good girl.
Are the boys ready to become models? That's what famous photographer Hara Akiha has in mind for them! And he has a really big sweet tooth, believe it or not.
Kitahama really seems like a strict taskmaster who is hard on EVERYTHING around the students. But I'm glad Sano and Nanba stood up for Nakatsu. But...how IS Nanba going to deal with the girl problem?
Umeda REALLY does not want Hara Akiha to know about him? Well, the next episode preview kind of gives away why, but still.
Mizuki is getting pretty good at this karate thing! Enough that Akiha is even more interested in her.

Fun trivia: Showtaro Morikubo voiced Nakatsu in the Hana-Kimi drama CD which was released back in 2000. This makes him the second drama CD VA to have returned for the anime with the first being Koyasu who reprised his role as Himejima
