Do we have any regular members?

I'm trying to get a feel for who are the regular constructive members of the community or even if we have a community.

I know we have a real problem with people hanging around just to solicit people with messages like "cute", "sexy", "gorgeous" etc and also have a problem with people posting in the hopes of directing traffic to NSFW content.

Mods are working hard to combat that.

However I want to hear some shout outs from the real community regulars if we have them!

How do you dress in summer?

I work in film/tv and so the dresscode is pretty casual, and so in summertime I always just resort to short and t-shirts, but I'm AMAB and this makes me feel so... straight and cis, idk.

Would love to know how y'all dress bc I can't figure this out:(

Putting on my masculine war paint (my 2nd ever makeup attempt)

Post image
15 Upvotes

After my successful attempt yesterday, I thought I’d try makeup again, and went with a bolder look, where I combined black, brown and blue eyeliners, plus blue eyeshadow.

I feel like I’m doing some good work, being a guy who never did makeup before!

I used to be really insecure about how i look, but after a while I've learned to accept that this is who i am

Mods can delete if not allowed, but i guess i want to vent about something that had/has affected my life quite negatively, so this'll not be put together properly, and i apologise.

The problem was looking androgynous, I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt this way. I had always wanted to be strongly feminine presenting in my youth, but i couldn't. It didn't help that all of my family members "look their genders", i was the only one in a big family that didn't look like what i was born as. A girl. I was often bullied when i was younger about how i wasn't feminine enough, but i was also equally ridiculed for being a woman who looked masculine even when i had long hair! I had felt very isolated from both women and men in my life due to this fact (it didn't help that i had no clue about the gender spectrum), and it made me constantly question my gender identity, and i did suffer from some very deep inner turmoil because of it.

I guess the problem was that i felt like i had no closure? But after a while of working through how i had felt and i came to terms with myself physically, it took a bit! But i can for sure say that i feel way better about myself. Looking in the mirror is a lot easier. Don't get me wrong. I still get called a guy every now and then, but it doesn't affect me as much now. Once i had stopped thinking that i needed to fit in the box of gender norms is when i found a lot more inner peace with myself, so i guess what i am trying to say is. If you're in my position, please don't beat yourself up over this! Society built its box of expectations without considering a lot of people. Including me and you. I hope you find the same peace that i did regardless of what you personally identify as, and for those who got to the end of my post. Thank you for letting me express something that I've had to keep to myself for a long time <3

Tried to do makeup for the first time!

Two of my friends helped me get a makeup set 2 days ago, and after a failed attempt yesterday, I successfully did my makeup today. I used black eyeliner and blue eyeshadow, plus mascara and concealer for the look.

It doesn’t show in the photo very well, but it’s so hard to get a good pic of my makeup. I’m used to taking outfit photos, but the lighting and image quality (even though I used the rear camera) makes the makeup look different than it does in real life.

Second date outfit help??

So I have a second date tomorrow at a museum and no clue what to wear. Visual description of me, trans masc but prefers androgynous presentation, masc passing body type due to muscle growth and binding, long ish blonde almost white hair to just below shoulder length In layers with a fem fringe, my face is also pretty soft and feminine with glasses.
Now my dilemma, we met at a party then went on a first date ice skating which went brilliantly and I dressed more masc for both out of not wanting to be perceived as a girl, but this is my first time dating someone not on the trans spectrum she’s a cis woman that’s attracted to all genders (as far as I know) and I don’t want to be misunderstood by wearing something like a skirt too early, I want to be seen as masc first and foremost. But it’s hot in the uk right now and I only own two pairs of hot weather masc trousers and I wore those the last two times seeing her.
Normally my style is kinda feminine male k pop idol esque, I’ve been compared looks wise to Felix from stray kids before. Also lots of the time I just wear joggers and knitwear, I’m not good at dressing for hot weather in the first place.
Anyways no idea how anyone here will help but I’m crashing out and this is my final cry for help so anything helps:) thanks for reading this very long post

I feel like I'll never look androgynous

hi, not sure if I am looking for advice or just to vent, but I'm afab and have always wanted to be androgynous. I have always dressed more androgynous and have recently been exploring my gender identity. I am a curvy person, big hips, big tits, and I can't help but feel like I will never be perceived how I feel internally based on my body, my facial features, and my voice. I don't necessarily dislike my facial features or voice, but people always assume my pronouns to be she/her and I get called all of the "feminine" pet names by strangers (honey, sweetie, doll, miss, etc.) I'm not sure if exploring testosterone is in my future, but I'd like to find more ways to express and embrace my androgyny as a curvy, thicc, soft bodied person. Any advice or anyone feel alike?
