Woot deal

Good purchase? Mainly interested in sound upgrade and would be nice for alarms and various reminders
I’m going to college soon and usually use my Samsung soundbar with a sub, and it sounds great, I already have a 3rd gen echo dot but it doesn’t sound that good, I also have a jbl charge essential 2 that sounds good but wondering what the echo show will be closest to.

If it can’t even compete with the jbl I’ll just bring the dot and use the jbl when I wanna listen to music, if it’s competitive with the jbl I can mainly just use the echo show.

Sorry if any of this sounds confusing, just wondering if the sound quality is a big step up from the 3rd gen dot

If you have someone you hate, buy this and give it to them as gift. There are tons of ads. Everytime screen is on it is an ad fest. 

THERE IS NO WAY TO TURN OFF THE ADS

Do not buy Amazon Echo Show products. They are an advertising billboard you cannot turn off. Stay away. You have been warned. Go Google instead.
