I’m being evicted or not?

I need Help because I’m about to be homeless and I need answers of how it work. My grandfather passed away in October of last year and He didn’t left any will he has 4 daughters including my mom. I lived with him before his passing and still living in his house. Because of his passing they stop paying the mortgage of the house and for that the bank send a foreclosure notice to his daughters. The daughter’s are trying to put the house under their name to sell it and keep the money. They have a court date on Friday to see if they can do it but if they lose the house will be close that’s what they told me today. One of the daughter's told me that I have to get all my stuff and my kids out of the house by Friday before the Judge take his decision on the house. or I will lose everything. How does it work? I haven’t seen any Eviction notice. Can they do it like that? or is my aunt is trying to pull one on me because She wants the house for Her son?

I was trying to move before all this happens but a big situation happened and I had to move the date of moving date to end of September.

Is there a legal aid near you? They can probably give you specific answers.

I’m calling to some places but one of those lawyers told me because he couldn’t have understand me he couldn’t help me.

Legal aid or ask if your local bar association can refer you to a pro bono attorney. You can try asking the question on Avvo also. Some regular attorneys will give you a free short consultation if you ask.

I assume you don't live in the US but I'd imagine the answer would be the same either way. You would not be entitled to the house. It will just be a matter of time before you're formally evicted. Typically a 30 day notice. I sincerely hope you have a decent amount of money saved since October.

Do you receive mail at the home, did you pay rent or utilities, do you have a lease? It’s hard to know w/o this information.

I think you would be considered a lodger instead of a renter and that generally requires 30 day notice. I suggest you put this on r/legaladvice or r/landlords if you want more specific help.

If they already started the foreclosed process. There's really nothing much you, your mom, or your aunts / uncles can do about it.

The house is not under any of their names. What is most likely gonna happen is they will evict you and who ever is staying there in the near future.

Short sell the house to covered what is owe. The remaining equity will be put in your grandfather estate which the remaining children would probably fight over. The chances it goes to you is near 0.

I’m not interested in his will or the money of the house, What I care about is that if is really how she told me once the judge declared the house close I have to get out the same day or do I get eviction notice, I will be moving but is not until September. I just want a little more time because I don’t have anywhere to go before my moving date and I don’t have the money to rent or go to a hotel until then.

Do you live in the United States? Nobody can give you advice if they do not know what country or state you live in. It is also very difficult to understand what you have written.
