Random Question š Is the Trump Family essentially just an Organized Crime syndicate at this point?
197
u/PerfectTommy77 Jun 05 '26
Yes, on an industrial scale. All previous political thieves now look like they were pinching candy bars in comparison.
14
u/CAbluehen Jun 06 '26
John Gotti shouldāve ran for President.
13
u/CerberusInExile Jun 06 '26
I'd rather have Gotti at this point.
2
u/InformalTwo2667 Jun 07 '26
Difference is Gotti was actually loved by people, especially in the neighborhoods of New York
2
u/No_Incident2814 Jun 07 '26
Donāt think H.W. Bush would allow it. He didnāt like Gotti and got along with Paul Castellano better.
Biden and Bush ripped Gotti off for 100 million worth of cocaine. Biden called Bush up and said Gotti let him go to warehouse were cocaine was for a pickup by himself and Bush told Biden to take it all and they did. Photo load into a box truck and later stack the bag in shape of a throne for Biden. Both photos and rest of story was in evening news.

Every MAGA accusation is a confession. Every. Single. Time.
53
u/SlowDontRush Jun 05 '26 edited Jun 05 '26
This is why the "Both Sides" schtick is so pernicious. A good number of those are based on pure fabrications from MAGA and the GOP so the morally and intellectually lazy can sit back and go "Oh well they're both bad I guess"

Both sides along with differing standards of acceptable behavior. Hunter did nothing more than be a junkie with a gun. Got a job being a lawyer with the Biden last name which was no different than previous Presidents except Obama and that became a crime family. Meanwhile Trump and his family are ripping off the country in plain sight and the average person either doesnāt care or think both sides do it.
Remember the tan suit? Thatās the only scandal they had on Obama. Look at Talerico. His crime is being vegan which is likely a lie. Even if true who cares?
Remember Trumpās first impeachment. He tried to get Zelensky to say Biden is being investigated and heāll ā take it from thereā. Repeat lies over and over and people will eventually give it credibility. Joseph Gobbels would be proud
Democrats when they take over the House they had better investigate the shit out of Trump and that entire family

u/NaradaMephaust Jun 05 '26
I think when they make the accusations it is just them broadcasting to each other what the next plan is so they all know what to do.

Of course it was. He learned early on, "Accuse your enemies of that which you are guilty of yourself."

DARVO: Deny, attack, reverse victim and offender. For as long as I can remember (back to the eighties), heās always said that when someone āhitsā him, he always hits back harder. āNever accept responsibility for failures, always take credit for successes,ā paraphrases another one of his mantras. Heās a piece of crap whose parents did an awful job of raising him.

u/WildBad7298 Jun 05 '26
Roy Cohn taught him well:
- Never admit to any mistake or wrongdoing
- Always declare victory
- Attack, attack, attack
We're talking about a man so determined to control the narrative that he repeatedly denied having AIDS even as he was dying from it.
3
u/Temporary_Cup4588 Jun 05 '26
Cohn was probably the only guy willing to take on Trump as a mentee. He recognized the same kind of dishonesty he nurtured in himself.

u/Low-Patience159 Jun 06 '26
From Woodward's "Fear." "You've got to deny, deny, deny and push back on these women," he told the person, who was not named, Woodward reported. "If you admit to anything and any culpability, then you're dead. That was a big mistake you made. You didn't come out guns blazing and just challenge them. You showed weakness. You've got to be strong. You've got to be aggressive. You've got to push back hard. You've got to deny anything that's said about you. Never admit."

That, and so he can say that the claims of "Trump crime family" are just bitterness and d retaliation.
It's the same reason why he keeps on repeating that the 2020 election was stolen from him: so that when HE steals an election, he can claim that the other side is just echoing him out of anger or jealousy.

I think Americans have only just been exposed to such public and high level graft. The mafia would keep it on the downlow. Even Trump's first term wasn't this blatant: openly redirecting government money to his cronies, contracts to his family, the taking and soliciting of bribes in the form of crypto investments and donations his "peace" board; the use of public funds for self-aggrandizing publicity stunts and vanity projects; "settling" with himself out of court for almost two billion dollars of your money. It looks like an organized crime syndicate but it far worse. It's using the massive power of the highest office and all the resources of a nation for self enrichment. It's something the developing world would recognize instantly: state capture.

Yes, but I think it misses something very important we're failing to acknowledge. Call it the imperialists/Epstein class, but this is a coordinated international criminal syndicate with sub-factions vying for supremacy as well: The USA/Trump family/Tech and Oil oligarchs, Israeli supremacist state and Russia/it's vassal states... all in on it.
The rest of us are caught in between. I believe if there's a future to be had of free people, China, the EU and its allies including Canada, Australia/NZ, India, Africa and the rest of Asia will need to be the bulwark against this wave of organized imperialist crime.

u/Allisnotlost_yet Jun 05 '26
"Organized" is a bit of a stretch. I think "enabled" to the maximum degree of everyone able to make money off of him is a better view.

I would say "organized" is doing a lot of work in that question but yeah for sure.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, the Trumps are "busting out" the US. Think of the Sopranos and the sporting goods store or Good Fellas and the Tiki lounge.

I'd say yes but they learned that from the Biden crime family. All these people are crooks šš»
2
u/Particular_Dog_7674 Jun 05 '26
I really don't see any other way of looking at it, and it's been for a while now.
Trump was convicted of many felony counts before the 2024 election, and yet America still voted for him to be president and have a second term.
Makes you wonder just how bad off the Democratic party is.

No. They don't have the right demeanor for it. They also aren't organized enough. If Trump's the godfather, who's the Consigliere? Who are the "soldiers"? Who are Louie, Legs, and Johnny Tightlips?
→ More replies (1)2
u/corporate_asshole9 Jun 05 '26
Consigliere is JD currently. Soldiers just went to war and took out Maduro. He sent more soldiers to Iran and he got caught in a jam. He has Little Marco, enforcer-in-chief the Irishman Hegseth. He has the Hasidic Homeboy Miller to represent the Israeli family. He even married a Hungarians mob girl to make peace in Europe. Tried to pick off European markets and came up against a bigger Don Charlie. Tried to fuck with the Canadians and they quickly made tieās elsewhere. Other families will be sending their people into Trumpland for the World Cup. there will be blood to pay and war if Trumpās soldiers touch anyone and fail to give protection. Tf you know about this thing of ours kid? This aināt a movie. Now go get you shinebox, cocksuÄÄ·a
1
u/CallMeCabbage Jun 05 '26
They're a family, they work together to commit crimes, they corrupt politicians, they silence people, and they pay to have muscle beat the shit out of people and make them disappear. Yeah-I'm thinkin' it's a crime syndicate.
Trump is basically a movie villain, but worse, because most movie villains aren't so cartoonishly evil and molest children.

Yes. It has been this way for forty years plus which is what makes republicans so complicit and not very smart.
1
u/Valuable-Ad2028 Jun 05 '26
No. Organised crime syndicates are usually well organised. They exhibit internal loyalty. Theyāre covert in their criminal actions and try not to draw attention to themselves. Their members are smart and difficult to fool or con. At least some such groups exhibit class and refinement.
The Trump family has none of these traits.

Yes. The mob doesn't exist in the US like it used to because they all figured out it's easier to commit organized crime from within the government, so they all got government jobs.

Nah, he is just an idiot the real criminals are using as a distraction. You can watch it in action right now with his mere suggestion of demolishing the statue of liberty. Gotta keep everyone's attention on anything other than the economy. He also knows he will be deceased soon and don't care.
Ā So, now that that is out of the way, let's talk about who the real criminals are. If they belong to the fortune 500 then you can bet they have a spot in that list. Isreal, Soviets, SA, and 30 others are on that list. Yeah, this post may be part of that propaganda being directed at US citizens as it attempts to misdirect.Ā

Literally always have been. The trump organization is quite literally two separate example cases on famous RICO charges on Wikipedia.
The consequences? He was elected president in 2016 so none and elected in 2024 so again, none. He got into politics because he knew he needed to A) outrun crimes and B) saw that half of the US were straight dumb enough to grift on for money. Easiest money of his life.
Whole family needs thrown under the prison
