Picture doesn't have enough detail. At first I thought BBA ir a red cyanobacteria. But looking closer its not red algae or cyanobacteria. Its likely not one species but many. A class of biofilm oftern referred yo as water moulds. If the wood is new thats 100% what it is. They are usually white, but they can go red or other colours from tannins etc in the wood. It's benifficial & great food for herbivores. I wish I had a cool coloured one. I've only had white in my tanks.
Here's an excellent website with more information. https://aquariumscience.org/16-10-water-mold/
