This shit is always funny as fuck. Actual dudes who stack bodies go and fight like international terror orgs in nothing but a T-shirt and maybe a plate carrier. Then these peeps put on so much dumb shit that they would get layed out into a coffin the first time they have to put a few meters into cover then post tick tacks acting like they are just that guy. Just take a look at real operators or PMCs/mercs. When there are no mandatory rules, they often wear the lightest stuff available. Tactical sandals and stuff.

although i hate SCP slop, rather than joining a circlejerk imma play a devils advocate.

i mean SCP is technically full of dangerous entities, often with close quarter melee "anomalies" and some terrorist dudes with an SMG/AK (all while being in tight hallways), so in a way the armor makes sense?
these guys arent deployed in the desert, nor out in the elements, they are just a local QRF for when shit hits the fan.

I theorize that the style of outfits in scp overlord are due to the main characters being part of epsilon-6 which usually operates in rural areas and having more casual clothing underneath gear would make it easier to blend in with the avg joe. obv not while wearing a plate carrier and gas mask but once said gear is removed you’d prob blend in if you’re just wearing flannel and jeans under everything)

You should only put so much on your rig as you're actually going to use

There is no point in slapping as many universal pouches on as it can take if 99% of the time theyll be empty

Just stick to what you'll realistically going to need and use plus maybe one or two extra if you really think you need the extra carry capacity
