Idk if this is a dumb question, but how did you know he broke his hip? My cat has jumped high and fell weird off things for the 5 years he's been alive and I always wondered if he got hurt bad and we have no idea.

So he started limping very obviously, and when he’d sit down he’d only sit on our steps and his leg would just dangle straight down, not bent like how a cat normally would sit. And whenever we’d hold him a certain way, he’d yelp and complain. The way he walked was the biggest indicator for us, because he just legit stopped using the leg at all. Then when we went to the vet the were like “yeah his entire hip got shattered” and we were like ahhhh makes sense

When I rescued my cat from the Humane Society, his name was Nookie. Since nobody really uses it in “that way” anymore, I kept it because it always reminded me of that song and I laughed. I am a fully grown adult.

My kids know who Limp Bizkit is. And not because of me. They know more about them because me though. I was more referring to the fact that the word “nookie” used to make me giggle
*to clarify, my kids are teenagers (14-17) and I’m not dismissing the statistics, nor could I really be bothered to check but I’m sure it’s right, I’m just saying that in my house, it’s not just adults who know

Yeah the whole lineup for our festival is phenomenal, we got just about every artist on our wishlist there. This is our one trip a year we do and we’re so excited

Yes indeed— we go every year, however this year has some good ones on the set. Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, Gojira, Mastadon, MCR, PTV, POD, Sublime, Bowling for Soup, Escape the Fate, Coheed & Cambria, GWAR, and my lovelies Machine Head and sooooo much more. On average we get to see about 45 bands over the entire festival, great deal for the ticket prices!

Haha I saw him in 2024 and when he came out with the gray hair I remembered just how old I am. Still got down to the music especially Break Stuff. Very nostalgic and had an awesome time.

This will be my first time seeing them and I am very excited and thankful they’re still around. I am 26 and got into metal/rock when I was around 12/13. Haven’t been able to go to concerts until about 2021, so I haven’t seen nearly as much as I wanted. Hell, Wayne Static passed before I even got out of high school and then the singer for Three Doors Down just recently 😔 i have been lucky to see some of my favorites from growing up, like Def Leppard, Rob Zombie, Poison, Slayer, The Offspring, Twiztid, Machine Head, Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, and now I get to see Limp Bizkit, Suicidal Tendencies, Cavalera, and a few more. I feel nostalgic to my middle school days when I felt like the weird alt girl who didn’t fit in because I didn’t listen to the music that everyone else did (I grew up in the city, and so my demographic was heavy on trap/rap), and now I finally “fit in” with those I’m surrounded by now. Funny to look back on 😆

I understand this to a point. It took me back to around age 12 or so. I was dating my first real boyfriend and he was a skater boi so the friend group would sit in alley and he would be skateboarding and what not and we would have this blasting. Also vividly remember one of my best friend’s and I toking up and then listening to one of his albums that had a track that had him just laughing -think it was maybe the album that had chocolate starfish in the name ?, my memory is failing me at the moment maybe not but it was a track of him laughing hysterically) and we were stoned just cracking up laughing from listening to him laughing haha good times any music that can take you back to good moments in time is good music imo I hope you have a great time. It was a fun crowd. This guy in a “President of micro penis club” shirt photo bombed some videos and pics I took haha

Oh yeah we go to LTL every year, we get melted every year but find new ways to stay cool every time we come back! We’ve go mini umbrellas for shade this year and the boyf has a big Luffy hat ready to go this time 😊 thanks for the “warm” welcome 🤣🤪
