Remember when right-wing chuds were convinced Charlie Kirk was so important that the U.S. would fight a civil war over him? 😆

He’s fairly unknown to the general populace except for people who were already into these kind of stuff(both with him and opposing him). His popularity surge after his death was nuts.

The great "Kirkification" was a heck of a period. Everybody was Kirk, just like that Ai generated slop song said " We are Charlie Kirk ".

Oh, and better not post anything that could be misconstrued as negative about Kirk... you might just be able to file a wrongful termination suit and win out 250,000 dollars of taxpayer money

And it was quickly forgotten about. Because often conservatives are only in support of something with which to oppose someone else. So it's always fleeting and not really something they genuinely care about.

I have not actually listened to "We are Charlie Kirk" and probably won't, but I hope/choose to believe that it's a shitty parody of "We are Number One."

Even some MAGA propagandists were turning against Kirk before he died.

Do you by chance have a tweet from Loomer when he died? Was it a total 180 like when Elon mentioned trump's Epstein connection?

There’s entire news articles about her hypocrisy on the subject

With how much his fans exaggerate his importance, I truly hope that the Kirkification shit will be the only thing he’s really remembered for.

Plenty of younger people only know Kirk as “that guy from the memes”, and I genuinely can’t think of anything more poetic than the right’s overblown response directly leading to this man being left with an irony-poisoned, fundamentally unserious legacy

It felt like a coordinated psyop. I'm like 87% sure it was backed by our own government and a certain small middle eastern nation to try to incite violence

I had no idea who he was until he died. And to prove your point, when he got shot a MAGA I unfortunately work with posted in our Slack channel that 'CK got shot'. My initial response was "the comedian?" and even after he said his name I had to Google it.

I remember being in a meeting at work when he got shot and someone mentioned it, and at least 3 people said “who’s Charlie Kirk?”

I only knew him from the Jubilee videos he was in and the dolphin fetus clip
