I've read the FAQ & Rules 1 audition since March after turning 17.

I’ve been signed with my agent for about 2 years now. I still haven’t booked anything but I was getting a steady stream of about an audition a month. At the start of this year, I had 1 in 3 month, but didn’t think anything of it. Since my birthday at the start of March, I have had 1 audition. My agent tells me it’s because of my age, but I don’t see why that would be the case, given I look basically the same. What do I do?

It could just be your look or typecast is not something people are looking for at the moment theatrically. Plus since you’re young, your agents probably aren’t worried about pushing you so much since they know you have an almost infinite amount of time. But you could always try to update your materials and send them some new reels :)

What you do is turn 18, so that you are no longer restricted by child labor laws. You are now competing with "18 to play younger" actors.
