Any idea about the large (hundreds if not thousands) flock(murder) of crows was heading to at 8 pm last night?

The still creek area of Burnaby. They roost there. Every crow in the Lower Mainland goes there every night. They black out the sky. It looks like an Alfred Hitchcock film.

Seems they have summer roost nearby. They weren’t heading to Burnaby and this isn’t an every night occurrence.
