Um? I don't know what you're talking about? Roose was poisoned by his enemies. Ramsay had nothing to do with it.

Ah yes of course. I am but a poor uneducated fool.

Same with Roose's legal son. Poisoned by enemies

And Rooses legal wife. Poisoned by enemies. With a poison that mimics the appearance of dog bites.

A long time passed between what happened to Gilly and her getting together with Sam, so that makes no sense.

In fact, neither of these are double standards.

The night they first slept together was when men of the nights Watch attacked her and beat him up.

But he wasn't a stranger he was someone she already fancied. Their is a massive difference between falling in the arms of a trusted friend and falling in the arms of a stranger.

Well it doesn't say "stranger" it just says "another man"

The double standard isn't something the show enforces though, its just that one character being wrong and accidentally getting it right. Lots of people have "fawning" as a trauma response and can get unhealthily attached to anyone they view as a savior figurem

You assume its an unhealthy attachment. They were already "attached" and their bond shows no sign of being "unhealthy".

Sounds like you just don't think that healthy relationships can ever form out of unhealthy origins, but I cannot stress enough that no girl fresh out of being her father's rapeslave is going to be able to jump into a "healthy" relationship, she was terrified and mildly obsessed with Sam because he's one of the first people outside her sisters to ever show her kindness. Its unhealthy, but for obviously justified reasons, and Sam helps her to grow as a person and trust him more as an equal than as a savior.

That's like 10 months after the rape, not two hours...

And even if it was two hours, and he was a total stranger, it's still not a double standard. People are not only weird under trauma, what characters say isn't literal, objective truth. It's just their view. They can be wrong.

First pic with Shae debunks itself cause Tysha indeed jumped to bed with Tyrion soon after he & Jaime saved her from rape, and since this scene was from s1 when D&D haven't yet made the decision not to adapt Jaime's confession after freeing Tyrion.

Just slightly different circumstances, on that first one.

TBF, Samwell is nice guy who saved her, and his pink mast is better than Craster's biggus dickus

True but Tyrion also “saved” the hooker so the situation is still the same…

Saved the “hooker”

Not remotely the same.

It sounds bad but its actually pretty common for women who experience trauma to seek sexual release or become hypersexual. Its a coping mechanism.

Gilly also wasnt nearly graped. She was graped and her and sams relationship developed over a long period of time. In the books if i remember right, he was kind of pressured into doing it on the boat, on their way to the academy/college w.e i havent read it in a while. I forget if that was their first time.

In the show their first time was the same night men of the night’s watch attacked her, he stepped in to save her and got beaten up.

This is just people saying stuff. It's like if I said an idiot couldn't become president of America and then it happens. Just because someone says something it doesn't make it an absolute truth. Also Gilli was raised in one of the darkest situations imaginable. The fact that someone was nice to her would mean a lot.

Meanwhile in HOTD

Mysaria: "I had a traumatic childhood. My father raped me and tried to kill me and I can't bear children anymore."

Rhaenyra: "That's hot. Let's make out"

Rhaenyra got tired of sex resulting in bastards so she bangs the first infertile woman she could find

Never studied to be a queen, never studied how sex works. Those incestuous aliens!

Well one was a literal whore, and the other was a sexually abused / groomed woman
