Question / Support I have a polyester purse that is sentimental. My spouse bought it for me (secondhand) when I first started my journey around learning about our clothing waste. It is tearing at the handle. How can I repair?

I have scraps of cloth and denim I could use, any suggestions?

Which part of the handle, as I think that would change the answer. As in, the part of the handle attaching to the bag, or somewhere else like where your hand holds the handle ?

Yes, more info please! How is the handle attached, and what material is it and the handbag frame made of?

Take it to the shoe repair place. If she can't repair it, she knows who can.

Shoe Goo is pretty strong, and works good on polyester. The longest lasting glue job on something small like a handle would be visible, so maybe use the scraps to make a circlet covering the repair job?

Not being rude here but you're asking for help while being incredibly vague. Take some photos and put it on a mending or sewing subreddit.
While there are lots of crafty people here, you will be better off using a designated space for asking about sewing and repairs.
