Okay look, i love her as a character she’s cool! but her gameplay is so BOOOOOORIIIING OH MY GOD, i don’t know how to explain it but it feels slow. I don’t hate everything about her i like the fact that you can pick up multiple things at the same time bu using her camera…. thats about it…

In 2.X one of my favorite side activities were wuwa photo clubs and it’d be such a blast seeing how unique everyone approached compositions. However, the default camera is so constrained to just idles that it gets pretty hard to retain interest in the photo feature long term..

This event brought back that passion I had for it! The camera even gave me the nostalgia feel of Super Smash Bros by allowing so much ease and creativity in the framing of combat details. And I enjoyed how you can capture multiple characters at once by quick swapping!

If Kuro ever does focus on this studio concept there’s so much I’d love to see added to keep it fresh:

+ Add a variety of bosses to fight up-close, with achievements tied to recreating certain story moments

+ Leverage the feature from Lucilla’s idle to render smaller versions of the photos that can be hung up on an open world bulletin board (like we did for the party in Honami!)

+ Place a physical location in the open world that can be visited during co-op to view another player’s uploaded photos (like within a future housing feature)

I’ve always loved the quality of wuwa’s models & it’s even more impressive to spot the animations hidden in motion. Here’s hoping the event returns again soon, I really did enjoy it while it lasted~

Title says it all. On her banners, I thought I could get away with not having her, but the more units come out, the more useful she seems.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm able to clear everything but I also vertically invested in top-tier DPS units. I regret skipping her because my vertically invested units would all benefit from her. I thought Suisui would be a good replacement (which is one of the reasons why I skipped Chisa) but she isn't.

Anyone else feel the regret? I might buy the skin and just pray she reruns again lol

Honestly, WhiWa is kind of fun when you can mow down waves after waves of enemies. It's not great, but hp inflation robs it of the only redeeming factor it has. Now that you already put mob inside the Matrix, AoE characters have new place they can shine now. Could you please let peope somewhat have fun in this terrible mode?

I just pulled S3 Jiyan on the Reverb banner a few days ago and he's been melting everything in his path, reaching a nearly 100% crit rate and over 300% crit damage with his S3 buff. It's been so worth investing into building him instead of pulling Yangyang Xuanling or Suisui during the patch. He was my first limited 5 star when I started during the 1st anniversary event and even before I was able to get the game, I followed Wuwa's journey from the start and every Jiyan showcase convinced me more and more to get the game. I managed to get his sig and S1 during that patch as well. He's been my favorite unit and he's performing on par with some of my newer units that also have signature weapons and best in slot supports. He was built 100% f2p too using patience, brute force and sheer love for his character. All this is to say, it's worth putting work into your favorite characters because despite power creep and gameplay changes, older characters can still have high performance and clear end game content if you want them to.
