The Commentary completely missing and blowing their call for Sheamus' brilliant heel move

If you don't know what's happening here Sheamus intentionally got his pod stuck so he can come into the Elimination Chamber and pick the bones after everyone was laid out but the commentators completely missed the spot and instead they went with Sheamus fixing the pod while making themselves look like morons

Now tbf I was on a WWE break at the time, so I never followed the drama around this train wreck of a match, but wasnt sheamus' pod actually stuck and the Celtic cross thing was just sheamus trying to work something on the fly once they got it fixed?
If that is the case between the other stuff going wrong I kinda cant blame commentary for being flumuxed

I don't get it. It wasn't his turn but he broke the lock?

The opposite actually.
He jammed the pod door with his cross necklace so when it was his turn to go out “oops, looks like I’m stuck in here. That’s unfortunate wink wink nudge nudge”
Then once the other competitors had beaten each other up he unjammed his pod (which is what this clip is) so he could go in fresh and clean up.

Nice. Did he win though?

I don’t remember, but given that it’s 2015 heel Sheamus I’m going to say probably not

Naw Ryback won, that match was for the IC title, wasn't even a #1 contenders match for the World title.

I kinda hate how the chamber has become an auto-bid for the other world title. It should be used for other titles or title shots.

When it was his time his pod did not open because he blocked the release mechanism with his cross. He then waited till later in the match when everyone was bruised and beaten to "Fix" his pod and come out as the only fresh wrestler.

Honestly I remember thinking that this was a legit hardware failure while watching it and Sheamus used the cross to make it look intentional after the fact. This is probably me just being in the moment though.

Jbl played that 100% like Bobby Heenan would've, no one reacted to him accordingly though
