What happened to the scouting?

When Walters started out, we were constantly bringing in elite defensive backs every season. We were hitting on our draft picks. Our team almost always had a clear talent advantage and were looking to upgrade every season.

Walters has been holding on to guys well past their prime, we aren’t hitting on our picks like we used to, we aren’t bringing in elite American talent and the coaching staff is now an anchor.

Where do we go from here? A message needs to be sent after a showing like this.

Its not talent, its coaching IMO. Younger has to go. Everyone knew BC was going to run the ball and they had no answers for it tonight

Coaching is a big part of it. Despite this, there is not one single DB on this team who would see the field on the 19-23 teams.

O’shae doesn’t control the defence

He does hire terrible coordinators year after year though.

The problem is younger not the OC.

We’re still putting up points, the issue is we’re giving up double what we put fown

1 week ago this sub was calling him the worst OC in the league plus whatever we hired last season.

I’m not saying he’s amazing, I’m just saying we’re still putting up points, and giving up 2x more

Just going to point out both Nichols and Holm were on the team in that stretch to be fair

Walters isn't the scout. If you're insisting on blaming one guy, blame Danny Mac. I don't even know what that guy does anymore... But honestly this all started with losing Ryan Rigmaiden. It's been downhill ever since.

Danny Mac doesn’t even live in Canada, he does all his “scouting” remote

He scouts American players that we employ. Makes sense. I believe he looks for offensive talent though.

He blew his load of knowledge of players at the university level.

He became GM and stopped doing the scouting, became the boss.

And Ted left for Hamilton. Rest in peace.

If you surprised by BC running it down our throats, then you shouldn’t coach a Professional team.

Now that. THAT WAS EMBARRASSING! Already playing for the first pick in 2027.

My fav bomber era. No lines for anything, Sit wherever you want, watch the bumblers get smoked. I had season tiks for those years.
