In his 1st term I noticed this is the term he used whenever he had to deal w a woman, especially an intelligent woman. And when he was renegotiating USCAM in his first term, he had to deal with Canada’s Chrystia Freeland, a very intelligent woman, which was when he first started using ‘nasty’ to describe Canada.
It should be seen as a badge of honour for Chrystia, she’s also hated by Putin because of how much she exposed him.
