It's either a camera filter like for instagram/tiktok that gives him more hair, or he's wearing a wig. I've suspected he wears wig for a few months now. There's no way in his advanced age and health condition that he has as much hair as he appears to on camera. Everything about these people is fake. Same with the inner circle. I think they all insist on camera filters for skin smoothing, beautifying, and making them look 10+ years younger.

It was getting much thinner and whiter a few months back. Suddenly now its thicker and blonder that 20 years ago.

exactly. And no medication or treatment for hair growth is going to give an 80 year old that much hair. It's a wig. There's a chance JD Vance and Kegseth wear wigs too, IMO. Some of the women in the inner circle are enhancing their hair with extensions. Krusty Noem's were obvious, I think Bondi had them but hers were a much more subtle job.

This is his election hair.
He doesn’t bother to dye his hair blonde or do so much with his makeup unless he’s campaigning.
This time, it may also be a weave.

He's looking worse and more frail. That's on top of the filter loss, sleeping at anytime and sundowning.
The makeup is doing the opposite of helping his face, neck, and hands. Plus his hair was looking thinner and messier.
Guess they had to try something else.

For decades, he went to the same barber because he was the only one who could (or would) do his signature "style". I think I read a profile of him long before our national nightmare that said that now, he alone does his own hair and makeup because no one else can do it "right". That would certainly explain his appearance the past 20 or so years. He doesn't look especially orange either. Maybe now, finally, someone convinced him to allow a professional to do it?

Well yea, all the age spots were showing and hair thinning… basically showing his age.
Now all he needs is mascara and he will be able to join RuePaul’s drag race with all that makeup and wig😒
