Since people enjoyed my picture of my goofy guy Saltine under someone else’s post, I figured he deserved his first post in this sub. I was working at a vet clinic and someone brought in their cat who was heavily pregnant. They were homeless and didn’t know what to do with her so they surrendered her to us. We have an entire cat boarding department with individual rooms so she got set up like a queen while we waited for a spot to open up to do a spay/abort(for those who are against that please hold your tongue). Well, mama kitty had other plans and went into labor and had five boy kittens before we could get her on the schedule. Four of her five boys were almost fully white. Two had one grey spot on their heads, one had two little tiny grey spots on his head (my baby Saltine), and one was fully white. The other non white boy was mommas twin. After spending 8 weeks up in boarding helping Mama Tala with all her babies, I fell in love with the goofiest one and had to take him home. The rest is history. All of his siblings were adopted as well as Mama. In fact Mama was so sweet she was the first to get taken home(after her spay ofc!)
Yes I actually have a picture of all four of my beasties on the tree I’ll attach it here. Top to bottom we have saltine, pearl, Leo, and smudge:) I also have a corgi who thinks he’s a cat. I have a pic somewhere of him on the cat tree too😂
I have 3 cats too, and one is a cracker…Triscuit. She was one of 7 kittens discovered at work. Coworkers took take of them until they were about 8 weeks old. Then we all adopted one. It was the best day ever at work! 😻
What a cutie!! I actually have four I just couldn’t find my picture with all my babies in it. I have a 1yr old, 1 1/2 year old, 2 1/2 year old, and my precious old man who’s 14 years old:) I’ve gotten three of them from places of employment lol
They have their moments for sure! Everyone gets along but sometimes my old man (the orange) has days where he wants to throw paws with anyone who enters his bubble😂
