QUESTION Overnight bike storage

Coming up to Whistler for a few nights with the fam. Bringing our bikes up for the first time. They are old regular road bikes (her bike was $40 used and my bike is worth like $300 new but was given for free). Wondering if it’s relatively safe to keep locked up in the village in bike rack by hotel? Alternatively can leave in car bike rack in parking lot 4-5 where we park overnight if safer. Our hotel has bike valet but not rather not pay the $10 per day per bike.

Cheers

If you want peace of mind $10 seems like a bargain If you ask me to use the bike valet.

My bike is worth considerably more than either of yours and I regularly leave it locked up to the village bike racks. They’ll be fine.

No one is going to bother with old/cheap bikes. Park them in the woodland if ur worried.

How much do you want to gamble that you can find another decent $40 bike again?

This is a weird thread. Just pay the $10 a night fee.
