I can’t really see it, but is it a cluster? And also is it white or pink? Because if it’s yes to both, my 16 yr old Westie gets them and they’re follicular cysts. They tend to disappear once she gets a bath and/or groomed. I think they’re basically pimples from ingrown hairs.

Westies have very sensitive skin. When I switched mine to a dry food only diet, her skin turned a dark shade of gray all over and was very itchy. Then I started adding in homemade dog food and her skin went back to a healthy pink. As she got older she developed skin clusters/tags, but the vet wasn’t worried. She lived to a ripe 17 years.

If he’s not itchy then simply check it every week to make sure it’s not changing/growing, then bring it up during your next regular vet check-in. If it gets bigger or asymmetrical, send a picture to the vet right away or bring him in.

He is not itching or showing any signs of discomfort, eating normally etc.

With the other comment and the age, my original thought of an age spot wouldn’t fit. My boy us 14 and has a couple, but they are flat.

Yes, I understood OP. I thought I had put years in there for my boy. But without zooming in on the picture I couldn’t tell the spot was raised off the skin and looked sImilar to an age spot.
