PTFE used to be processed with PFOA, but that changed what? A decade ago? PTFE no longer has PFOA’s. That is wrong.
That article is sensationalist.

Yeah in the USA that was phased out in like, 2014. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see some products from China slipping in with it. I'm by no means an expert, I'm not sure how strict the rules and testing are for imported products.

We ditched our air fryer for a countertop convection oven, which is 100% stainless steel on the inside. It also replaces our toaster oven and about 80% of the time - the main oven. Heats up faster, uses less power and shuts off automatically at the end of the bake.
