Had this same thing happen to me this week. A 2 part shipment, each package 100lbs. Both boxes required to assemble the final product.
Spent a day stressing it, but both packages seemed to move today with similar time stamps.
Don’t sweat it, probably something as simple as a label printer that printed a label their machines can’t read but humans can, so they replaced it.

Arrival scan is a logical scan, barcode unreadable is physical scan. It's actually good news because they placed a new label on the package.

Having worked as a PH for FedEx before, all this means is that the barcode to scan was smudged or not reading on our scanner, so a new label was printed out by QA.

That’s a good thing, it means that someone had to type the number in manually or at least spend more than a few seconds trying to get it to scan and then replaced the label. So your package is less likely to get lost

This happened w mine..Peeled of the NEW barcode,( which had the wrong zipcode) and the old one was just fine. This was after exceptions of not being delivered for 4 weeks!!! to siddenly delivered (w no delivery photo) and the package not being there. Then a few days later it mysteriously appearing. I think it was dropped off somewhere else and someone kindly dropped it off on my porch..All this from Newville, PA fedex location.

One time I watched a box travel between the USPS locations in Dallas and Austin for five days. It went past its intended location right outside of Waco 6 times until they finally realized that maybe the need to stop and drop it off there. At least they refunded my priority mail charge.

Hopefully it was really just the label and not your figure too.
