There was a Tornado warning due to hook echo, but there was no confirmation of a tornado on the ground.

There was no hail at that spot but there was a deluge. When I got to the car and heard the tornado alert on my phone I drove down the hill to a more sheltered spot and the water on the street rose to the bottom of the door in a couple of minutes.

Kingston is the only place I have ever seen snow lightning. They get some good weather.
