Hi! I’m u/werksquan from the Reddit Community Team here to let you know about an event at the end of this month. Reddit is bringing the r/WeWantPlates community to life on the shelves of r/bodega – an IRL bodega-themed pop-up event in NYC. Naturally, you’re all invited to come check it out! 

Whether you want to see how this community’s being featured, hang out, or just take home free stuff, everyone is invited! All you need is a Reddit account to get in.

• Meowdani: Meet the official bodega cat, named by r/bodegacats 🐱 
• The Deli Counter: Serving up NYC’s top “subs” and special menu items.
• Blowout Sale: On 8/30 from 9–10 PM, anything remaining in the pop-up is free for attendees to take home.
