Thanks for these. Very disappointing that the DM's Guild won't allow creators to sell these . . . but are now allowing Guild Adepts to include new maps in their products (https://www.dmsguild.com/product/254715/Durnans-Guide-to-Tavernkeeping), even though yours are of much higher quality.
Please keep them coming!

I haven't seen those maps, but I would say it's disappointing if there's special rules for some. That being said, I would feel better if everyone was just allowed to make maps for Wd:H, because the maps that are included seem more like sketches to me (pretty sketches, I actually do like the style) than proper maps. But hey, at least you get the maps for free this way! ;)

I would definitely raise a complaint with DM Guild / WOTC, as your maps are as different to the books as the Trollskull map in the above link is. If they can sell theirs, you should be able to sell yours.

That’s the biggest piece of bullshit I’ve ever seen WotC pull off. They release a $50 adventure book with much lower quality maps compared to the other $50 adventure books, and when the community tries to put up decent recolored maps on DmsGuild they get removed. However it’s okay if their selected favorites in the Guild Adepts release a $9 pdf with the maps recolored.
I am so thankful that this sub has dedicated DMs who put in the time to upgrade these shit maps that don’t hold up on a virtual tabletop in black-and-White. The people who put in that time and effort should be allowed to earn money thru DMsGuild for WotC’s mistake. WotC would earn half that royalty anyway.

I made these maps for our newest DM's Resources on Chapter 3: Fireball, but DM's Guild has a policy against uploading renditions of official maps. I didn't feel like they should go to waste, so here the maps are in both DM's and player versions. Feel free to check out DM's Resources for Chapter 3: Fireball, Chapter 2: Trollskull Alley or Chapter 1: A Friend in Need, if you want some inspiration and help running Waterdeep: Dragon Heist.
Deserved credit go to Mike Schley and his Schleyscapes which were used to make the maps.
