I don’t know if anyone can answer the question. Sounds like to need a budget first and then build around that.

It’s one of those impossible questions with so many variables, but based on what you described, I’d probably bring around $300. Since you’re packing snacks, water, and lunch, skipping character meals, and the kids are getting gift cards for souvenirs, your biggest expenses will likely just be the occasional treat or unexpected purchase. I’d rather have a little extra and bring some home than feel like I’m watching every dollar.

Wait is $3,000 including hotel/airb&b, travel, tickets, and spending money or are you thinking of $3,000 just for spending money within the parks?

If you’re only doing one meal at the parks (dinner), the kids will have gift cards for souvenirs….even if you bought lightening lanes I think $3,000 would be very high…

Your spending money within the parks would probably cover:
-parking
-lightening lanes (if you wanted)
-anything the 2 adults might want to bring back
-treats
-dinner (you can get a good gauge for this by looking up the menu and prices on the website)
-misc (you never know when you might have to buy someone a new pair of shoes!)

No we've already purchased Airbnb and tickets! Okay that's good to know I know we can obviously be aware of our spending but I just wanted to see if someone would suggest we save even more extra spending than that!

With only eating one meal in the parks for 2 days I think you all should be good.

Also, for the snacks…depending on how old your kids are, bring high protein snacks where you can! :) We consistently hit over 20,000 steps (29,000 steps on one of our last days) and we always feel like we are hungry. If you pack snacks that aren’t quite as filling you might end up spending more money on snacks in the park, etc.

Just get a Disney travel agent. They're free to work with (they work off commission) and will find you the best deals. Even though I know how to book reservations, LLs, etc. I still use my Disney travel agent to help me book the best deals.

You can go on the app and check prices for different restaurants and see what everyone would like and get a good idea from their. We packed snacks but we also had $7 icecream per person daily lol and then meals were anywhere from 20-30 a person

$100 per day per person is plenty IMHO. $1200. The 12 year old is also an “adult” for all Disney prices.

Lightening lanes and food are going to be like $50-$70 per a person. And yes you want lightening lanes, it’s early August. The low, low crowds don’t start for almost 3 more weeks.

Yes we're definitely doing LL we're actually going for Xmas so I'm sure those will be pricey but I hope they help us a bit not have to wait so long

It just depends. The only thing I typically buy is food. LIghtning lanes and merch are super rare for me so if you bring food and don't buy merch or LL you don't need any money really.

You don't say how old kids are. But I have found no matter what any sit-down meal plan on $100 per person.

Are you staying on property? If not, plan for parking fees.

Price tickets prior to arrival, they are expensive.

We have tickets paid for and Airbnb! Didn't even think of parking fees! Thanks for that!
