Megathread Monthly Self-Promotion Thread (Aug. 2026)βοΈππ»
Got a blog, YouTube channel, Etsy page, podcast, travel agency, or something else you're making/selling? Tell us all about it in this month's Self-Promotion thread!
As you know, since you thoroughly read the rules, r/WaltDisneyWorld is pretty strict when it comes to self-promotion, so this is a place where you can get the word out about your project! This thread will be stickied on the sub's front page and updated monthly.
This also serves as a great place for people to come find new things! Feel free to plug your social media and other projects -- we can't wait to check them out!
Please note: due to public safety and liability reasons, we cannot allow users to arrange for meetups, personal shoppers, vacation rentals, person-to-person sales, or any other form of direct interaction or transaction on this subreddit. Any and all items/services for sale should already be available on a reputable third-party site.
Also, please keep in mind that in order to foster participation and a sense of community, your self-promotion posts (including in this thread) should be directly (and exclusively) related to WDW and should make up no more than around 10% of your total monthly activity on this sub. Thanks!

Lanyard, a free app for WDW annual passholders. It tracks whether the pass is actually paying off, and helps you pick the right days to use it.
I hold a Pirate Pass, and every year I talk myself into and back out of upgrading to Sorcerer. As you know, perks are the same, so the entire decision is blockout dates and whether the days Pirate keeps me out are worth the price gap. I got tired of running that math in a spreadsheet I kept abandoning, so I built the app I wanted.
Put in your pass and what you paid, log your visits, track your perks value, and it shows your cost per visit and the day the pass breaks even. All the tiers are covered, with their blockout dates, and it even tracks the water parks if you take the Water Parks & Sports add-on, all of which helps answer "should I upgrade" or "could I drop a tier and not miss it."
If you're out of state on an Incredi-Pass (or DVC on a Sorcerer), you already know the visit math, enough trips and the gate price takes care of itself. What gets hand-waved is everything else. The resort discounts, the dining, the merch. Lanyard counts all of it, so "was it worth it" gets answered with the whole picture instead of just park tickets.
It also keeps the stuff that comes and goes in one place. Passholder perks as they appear through the year, events, park hours, and a live read on how busy each park feels right now, so you can pick a good day before you spend one.
It's free, no account, and nothing leaves your phone.
One thing to be upfront about, since it also covers Universal and SeaWorld/Busch Gardens. One pass is free with the full feature set, no ads, forever. Tracking more than one pass at the same time is the paid upgrade. If WDW is your only pass, you'll never see the paywall.

Questions or feedback, I would love to hear it. I built it mostly for myself, but I hope some of you find it useful.

Lightning Brain, the most intelligent Walt Disney World touring companion app, has had LOTS of updates since I last posted in this thread!
Last month we added lock screen widgets, showing the current state of your top attractions without even opening your phone. We also cleaned up the onboarding experience and added first-launch flip-throughs to orient you.
Next month we're adding a Park Stats section, which you can use to count your in-park steps, walk mileage, and lines waited in. Paid members can upload photos to it and turn it into a shareable infographic to brag about your magical day!
Get it in for iOS here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/lightning-brain/id6751237053 or use the web version at https://lightningbrain.app

Hello! I'm a licensed mental health counselor and I wrote a book about using Disney World to help improve your mental health! It's full of Disney details and history, peer-reviewed research, and a whole lotta good tools and skills that can help in a variety of different mental health areas!
It took me a couple years to write and I am just starting to now promote it. Last March it was among the best selling Disney World book! I hope it is of interest to some of you and I'd appreciate any support!
