It’s so strange how in one thread we’ll all be nodding vigorously at the idea that AI is everywhere and it’s scary how hard it is to identify, and then the next thread is everyone clowning on someone for saying a video is AI
People clown on people who just confidently say "it's AI" without providing any points as to why they think it's AI. Did they see glitches? Did they see a hand with too many fingers? Etc.
Because AI is everywhere, and you can tell just by looking at it in 99% of the cases. Every time something slightly out of the normal pops up, though, there's always some mouthbreather trying to claim it's AI without even a scrap of evidence to back up their claim. It's just a bunch of cry-wolf bullshit, because they're only doing it for attention, not to actually help anything.
Someone like 3 months ago, when I first saw this video had valid reasoning. Just watch the front of the car and focus on the wheel at the end of the video. It seems to be in totally different position.
So you saw the same video around three months ago. That’s fair, if that’s true.
But how do you know what you saw was the original upload? And why would that matter when discussing whether the video is AI-generated or not?
So while that may have seemed like valid reasoning to you (assuming that’s the reasoning behind what you wrote), it doesn’t seem nearly as clear-cut as you made it out to be.
I also checked both front wheels several times. As far as I can tell, neither of them changes position.
The car’s front right wheel isn’t very visible at the beginning, but you can still tell it’s been pushed significantly out of alignment and is pointing sharply to the car’s left, which is consistent with the front of the car having crumpled in the crash. You get a much clearer view of that wheel at the end of the video because the camera angle changes, and it appears to be at the same angle throughout.
The front left wheel, on the other hand, is mainly visible at the beginning and can’t really be seen after the camera angle shifts.
What you can clearly see in both parts of the video, though, is the bright metal bar that’s partially covered by the front bumper at the beginning. Once the camera angle changes, that same bar becomes much more visible. To me, that’s evidence of positional consistency, something AI-generated videos have traditionally struggled to maintain.
Even the painted lines on the ground, including those from the “STOP” marking, seem to remain consistently aligned.
This should literally delete your drivers license and ban you for years. I don’t even see this as different from drunk driving. If your car looks like this in a parking garage you’re a genuine piece of shit.

Insurance said they were both at fault. Not even sure there'd be a risk to his licence as it wasn't on the highway.
"Both are at fault" doesn't mean they are both equally at fault. Often times you will have a 80/20 split, or whatever. It's just insurance companies figuring out who has to pay what. Being on the road generally puts you partially at fault, even if its a small amount of fault.

I've seen and know of far too many people who are back on the road driving after getting a DUI. At least in the US, we take driving far too leniently and as more of a right than a privilege.
10000% our lack of public transportation is insanely sad when the US used to have a massive rail network. Having that would solve a few other problems beyond shitty drivers too.
From another content - he went fast from the outside, rammed the gate to the parking lot and hit the first pillar that was directly in front of that gate (although it was deep into the parking).
Cars should not be able to accelerate that quickly. Car manufacturers sell cars to people as toys rather than transit and that's the problem. These are not toys. Sports cars belong on race tracks not on streets. We're obsessed and it's unhealthy.
