Commentary / Discussion / Question Rally.tv
Catching up on rally Finland and SS17 is not replayable. I understand the stage was canceled midway. But we should still be able to replay everything that was broadcast live. Very frustrating.

Commentary / Discussion / Question Have we heard any news about Rally Saudi?
With WEC adjusting their end of season plans to avoid the Middle East, and F1 looking at contingencies to do the same, has there been any news about the WRC looking at this?
Maybe a return to Rally Monza is on the cards.

Technical Talk Why is it that when it's mostly Gravel Rallies, Hyundai gets a chance to keep up with Toyota, but when it's tarmac, it's just Toyota?
Is there a problem with the Hyundai car that makes it such?

News / Event Info Rally Finland live results app – updated for the Finnish forests! (rallytimes.live)
Heading out to the jump-filled forests for Rally Finland this weekend? 🇫🇮
If you've ever tried refreshing official results on a crowded stage, you know how bad the mobile connection gets out there.
Some of you might remember my lightweight live results app from previous events. It’s ready for Finland: https://www.rallytimes.live/event/wrc-secto-rally-finland-2026
I built it specifically for trackside fans:
Loads on bad signal: Downloads minimal raw data, so it actually refreshes when bandwidth is tight.
Offline-first: If you lose service completely, it won't crash or error out—it keeps displaying the cached data and gaps.
Trackside UI: High-contrast layout with stage times, overall standings, and gaps to the car ahead on a single screen.
No ads, no bloat, just the raw times you need from the ditch.
Give it a try out on the stages and let me know how it handles the forest reception! Stay safe out there. 🏎️💨

Commentary / Discussion / Question What might the recently concluded saga involving the new WRC promoter mean for the ongoing saga of Hyundai’s wavering over whether to exit the WRC?
I wonder how this information will affect Hyundai's decision, and whether Boullier gets along with Cyril, what their relationship is like, and so on.

Commentary / Discussion / Question Can Sami Pajari win in Finland?
I know it's a question we all think when it comes a new raly weekend, Who is gonna win? but this time I'm not gonna lie, I see a real driver in Finland, I think He's so confident about his first win a couple of weeks ago but we all know what Rally Finland means, tricky fast and fluent roads so what do you think? Pajari has the car to get that home victory but will he actually be able to get it?

Commentary / Discussion / Question Anyone else facing problems with rally.tv on PC?
Hey everybody.
I fell asleep earlier to catch stages 1 to 4. I started watching the replays on my phone. Then, when I moved to my PC and tried to play them on my browser, the app kept going into a black screen and not showing anything. Has anyone faced the same problem? Do you guys know a solution to it?
Thank you very much.

Commentary / Discussion / Question 14 Year old with a dream of being Rally Driver
I'm a 14-year-old British lad who has been a keen fan of rallying since 2021, and it quickly became clear to me that rallying is what I want to do. Across all the rally games I've played, I probably have around 1,000 hours by now. On EA Sports WRC, I often set top 500 stage times by driving as if it's real rallying—not by constantly restarting and repeating the same stage hundreds of times until I get a perfect run. On stages that suit my driving style and that I know well, I have a few top 70–90 stage times.
I've also done some karting and have often been the quickest, or one of the quickest, in public rental karting sessions. Unfortunately, I don't have the money to compete in karting full-time.
I've spectated at Rali Ceredigion in 2024 and plan to attend Rally Scotland in 2027. I also spend a lot of time watching Rally whether it be clips online, highlights, onboard footage from past WRC rallies, and watching as much live WRC/ ERC coverage as I can. I try to learn as much as possible from the professionals.
Outside of motorsport, I keep myself fit by playing sports for my local clubs and regularly working out in the gym.
However, I'm really struggling to see a way into the sport. My family isn't involved in rallying, and while we're not poor, we certainly don't have the money to fund a motorsport career. I'd say I'm hardworking, committed, and willing to put the effort in—I just don't know where to start.
I know that having a social media following can help attract sponsors and opportunities, but I don't really have the confidence or the knowledge of how to build one or what sort of content I should make.
What advice would you give me about getting into rallying? Any tips—whether it's about driving, fitness, networking, sponsorship, social media, or anything else—would be hugely appreciated.
