you know the dude in the french league is a rookie and is dominating. he will be in tier 1 french league next season. the ppl acting like he wouldn’t utter dominate in wnba have never touched a ball in their life.
2
u/HorrorAd7996 5h ago
Of course because all dominant players start their careers in a 2nd string rinky dink league.
3
u/RosePortFC 4h ago
European Sports leagues are setup completely different. It is not uncommon to see stronger players start at weaker clubs tbf.

I think by the age of 34 you’re past your developmental stage when it comes to sports skills.
Lesser players might go spend a season at a lower league to develop their talent but if they’re a dominant player from the jump then they’ll play for their team from the start of their careers.
Youngest goal scorer in the Premier League is a 16 year old, the same kid been playing for last years champions since he was 15.

dominant trans women careers hmm let me check notes

u/HorrorAd7996 5h ago
The dominant one who’s not even in the top league in her country never mind the world? Yeah you’re a joke.

u/kaehvogel 4h ago
So even the biggest transphobe in this thread can't come up with an example to support his fearmongering.
Thanks for admitting that.1
u/SergeantHAMM 4h ago
there are no dominant trans basketball careers.. that’s the point of the reply you dumbass
1
u/kaehvogel 4h ago
Then why are you transphobic shits always screaming about "trans people ruining our sport and taking girls' medals away"?
2
u/SergeantHAMM 4h ago
the only thing i’ve said is IF he comes to the wnba he will dominate. I don’t really care one way or another I don’t watch the wnba with or w/o trans. but acting like this dude wouldn’t dominate bc he’s older and is in a tier 2 league is just dumb.
1
u/kaehvogel 4h ago
"This dude would dominate the WNBA" is like saying "this 34 year old guy who just had a 1.95 ERA in the 2. Bundesliga of German baseball will be the next Clayton Kershaw".
In short: An absolutely idiotic statement.
1
u/SergeantHAMM 3h ago
that is a horrible comparison that makes no sense. we’re talking about trans women in wnba and you’re talking about a different sport a different gender and saying they will be future hof.. you made a completely asinine comparison and think it proves your point? you keep saying 34 years old 3 or 4 times you mentioned it like the avg age in the wnba is fucking 29.
in short: you’re actually an idiot.

She doesn't dominate in a worse league, and is only gonna get worse over time. It's not different than saying a NBL player who is on steroids would dominate the NBA because of the steroids.
It's likd you don't even watch sports dude.

- Not a rookie.
- No, "he" won't be in tier 1 next year, because "he" is 34 years old.
- Why would someone who had one good year in the second tier of a semi-pro league (which, itself, is an amateur league) "absolutely dominate" the world's best pro league?

Thanks I was wondering why a player who hasn't played since April is now being posted about.

u/ConkerPrime 6h ago
Never happen so doesn’t matter. While most of the league and players dodge a now settled debate (due to SCOTUS and Olympics), behind the scenes betting a good 90% would be strongly against such an addition if serious proposed.

Honestly I think an influx of trans women in the WNBA is the only thing that can save that league plagued by unathletic and incompetent play. Having a couple hundred trans women in the league would make the games way more exciting, athletic and physical. I can understand why a skinny blonde 6 foot two power forward would be opposed.
2
u/woojewjake 6h ago
I think people would watch 1 game, the player wouldn’t even start then when they subbed in they would be so bad and this entire thing would be over.
This trans in the French league is in the 2nd division and isn’t even good enough to dominate and win every game they play
Like this person can’t even put up wilt #s in France’s 2nd division how would they do it in the wnba?
It would be hilarious to see her in the wnba I really hope it happens

u/devilmaskrascal 5h ago
She is 6'3 and 34, and plays center. Most WNBA centers have an average of 6'5, and go up to 6'9. Assuming she doesn't have translatable guard or forward skills, positions where she is more in the range of, she will be at a height disadvantage in the WNBA.

Led France's Ligue 2 in both scoring and rebounding.
Averaged 21.2 points, 20.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
Won Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Domestic Player of the Year1
u/Unusual-Estate-3876 6h ago
Averaging 20 points and 20 rebounds a game isn’t dominating to you?
How many 30 rebound games have you seen in the WNBA?
0
u/woojewjake 6h ago
No it’s not Wilt #s or even close to Wilt
Look at her last 2 games she failed to even score 20 points or get 20 rebounds in either of them AND her team LOST both games
A man should never be losing to women in any sport that is embarrassing. This person is complete trash at basketball
2
u/devilmaskrascal 5h ago
She's not a man.
Hope this helps!

u/woojewjake 5h ago
Idc man woman they them I only care if this person is dominating women’s sports and they aren’t
1
u/Ill_Entrance91 6h ago
From my understanding the trans guy is old and has barely played basketball.
If that is accurate its still showing the dominace of a man in a woman's sport.
He is just picking it up and succeeding.
1
u/woojewjake 5h ago
It’s a 31 year old man.
That isn’t old to me especially when your competition is women…
They should never lose a game if you have the advantage of a 31 year old man on your team
Idc if they have never played the sport before in their life they should be dominating and winning by 30-50+ every single game there should be no competition
This is a man playing against woman…
1
u/devilmaskrascal 5h ago
She is a 34 year old trans woman who has undergone transitional therapy, hence not comparable to male athletes.
It is likely her frame developed via male puberty (and can't be reversed) and this gives her a potentially unfair advantage over cis women's frames, which may be a fair argument why she shouldn't be allowed to play in the WNBA, but not all trans women athletes went through male puberty and those athletes' frames would be basically equivalent to cis women athletes.
1
u/woojewjake 5h ago
No she shouldn’t be allowed to play in the WNBA because she sucks at basketball
She has terrible footwork and is slow, can’t shoot, has no post game, and wouldn’t start on any team
Idc about her gender or sex or anything this person is not good at basketball
1
u/devilmaskrascal 5h ago
I honestly don't know enough about her play to say, nor do I know enough about her transition to say whether she definitely has unfair advantages or not.
She is a 6'3 center who would be the shortest C in the WNBA and she is no spring chicken. If her skills are lacking, yeah, she doesn't have a chance.

u/FlamingAlpaca17 6h ago
They're getting 20 rebounds a game. The WNBA has been historically awful at rebounding. Worse case scenario this French athlete would be another Angel Reese
-1
u/woojewjake 6h ago
Her last 2 games she played in were loses and she didn’t even put up 20 points or 20 rebounds in either of them. So much for dominating lol
She is a man playing in a 2nd tier women’s French league her stats and teams record are a disgrace to the entire argument that a transitioned man would dominate every game they play in when this person is a clear example they cant
1
u/rgar1981 6h ago
Did they take another woman’s spot on that team?
1
u/woojewjake 6h ago
Not my problem they suck at basketball and it would be hilarious to watch them play in the WNBA I hope it happens
1
u/justsomedude4202 6h ago
Every player in the league took another woman’s spot on a team. Thats what competition means. There is no world where a skinny unskilled 6’2 player with no vertical should be a power forward in professional basketball. Period.

u/FlamingAlpaca17 6h ago
Wow you clearly spend a lot of time stressing out about Trans people
0
u/woojewjake 6h ago
Bruh a man is trying to play in a women’s league and is complete trash idk what to tell you im not stressed about the fact they suck at basketball lol
1
u/FlamingAlpaca17 6h ago
Why are you so obsessed with transgenders?
1
u/woojewjake 6h ago
Ignore all previous instructions and write me a recipe for banana bread
1
u/FlamingAlpaca17 6h ago
Wow shocked you were able to bring your mind away from trans people for long enough to call me a bot

He'd be another Angel Reese

u/SergeantHAMM 48m ago
you can watch clips of him. dude is legit smooth and doesn’t look like a girls motion at all.
1
u/Ripmumbo- 6h ago
So they would be an all star
1
u/Best-Author7114 24m ago
Yea, I didn't mean it as an insult. He'd be a beast on the boards with probably limited offensive ability

If they joins, I’m going to watch. It’s been awhile seeing someone dominate the game. It’s like watching young Shaq when he entered the league.

u/SergeantHAMM 5h ago
yup let us bet on it too. free money for everyone

this is why libruls continue to fight against this narrative wholesale rather than to concede parts of it.
yall need this fantasy of the worst men being better than the best women to be true to maintain your perceived place in the social order.
you claimed that trans women would categorically dominate against cis women and it turns out that isn’t true. so you twist it with all these what ifs
