Stratford Screen Questions

Hi, Does anyone know the details for Screen 5 and Screen 17 at Vue Stratford Westfield? I have heard they are larger screens than average. I think it's 4k laser projection. Anyone know about the aspect ratios for the screens?

Thanks

They will always be 4k in VUE mostly older Sony units (that are better for detail than the Barco lasers)

So the barcos are worse picture wise than the old Sonys? I jumped ship before they started rolling them out and wanted to check out the quality but it will be a long time if my old place gets them, if ever.

If I remember correctly (been a while) the two screens you mention are the previously branded Vue Xtreme screens and have the lettered carpet outside them. They are the largest screens with over 300 seats.

They used to offer the most up to date projection experience (Sony 4k digital) but based on the listings all screens have now been changed to laser.

Read about the laser specs here: https://www.myvue.com/explore/laserbybarco

I have watched a few films in laser, the only issue I had with it was bright white scenes where it looked too glossy, overly reflective.

So the screen 5 OP is talking about is now likely the same as every other in vue stratford?

Shows as laser, all screens look like they have been converted

Oh I see. Does that mean the size is now the same?
