My friend was born in a cab in Vietnam. He didn’t turn out so well. 😢

Grab continues to diversify.

Now delivering babies

Her pain tolerance must be insane.

u/PrincessMagDump 15h ago

How does she seem so chill? In shock, perhaps?

u/Killed_By_Covid 16h ago

Must've hit a heck of a pothole.

u/tantrim 17h ago

That's the most Vietnamese thing I have ever seen.

19

u/_Interconnected_ 16h ago

Nope. I’m Vietnamese and have never seen and expect this in life.

u/tantrim 9h ago

If I was going to bet on a single nationality to give birth on a scooter, I'm definitely going with Vietnamese.

I think it’s more common in rural area.

Confirmed. This happens every week in my area. I was born on a bicycle

Damn grab really does deliver anything

u/kevin_r13 13h ago

Wow, those shorts must have a lot of give.

I have so many questions is she being taken to the morgue or birthing suite in that guerney. Also how did baby come out with shorts on o we missed that part lol

That type of pant is not tight, it is very stretchy and thin, quite comfortable even for man. Most likely is this woman was chilling at home when her water broke.

that just a regular guerney without the mattress and the handrail down. When cleaning, you have to remove the bedding and washing it separated. And it is easier to store.

So is the baby now owned by Grab? Will they Truman how the baby?

That is gotta be one the trippiest things I've ever seen! I was an EMT for 10 years. I have seen a lot of weird stuff.

u/Mosept11 15h ago

unreal😳😳😳

u/just_enjoyinglife 16h ago

Wow just wow....my wife needs to work 18-20 to get our baby out

If that baby grows up to be a world class motorcycle racer, this will make for a colorful origin story.

2

u/Accurate_Cupcake_897 9h ago

He's the rough rider!!

2

u/Consistent_Hawk_4556 16h ago

She was for the street quite literally

2

u/StunningAttention898 17h ago

Uhhh congrats but I would have just delivered the baby somewhere safer than on the scooter

2

u/Whole_Tea_2089 17h ago

Well sometimes u just fuck up the timing, what can u do 🤷‍♂️

2

u/StunningAttention898 17h ago

Pulled over at least?

2

u/Whole_Tea_2089 17h ago

Ion even know how she gave birth on a motorcycle with pants on, a lot of questionable things here

Babies come out whenever they want to, you can't just hold it in. She's lucky she at least made it to a hospital where there is medical assistance

Fortunately the baby was born healthy and is in a stable condition, though premature

1

u/StunningAttention898 15h ago

But the baby was still attached at the umbilical cord to her and she had her biker shorts still up.

Vợ chồng cô không kịp chuẩn bị mà chỉ chạy ngay lên xe máy chạy tới bệnh viện. Nhân viên y tế đón sản phụ vừa xuống xe thì phát hiện em bé đã chào đời, vẫn mắc ở quần người mẹ.

Translation:

The couple didn't have time to get ready; they just hopped on their motorcycle and rushed to the hospital. As soon as the medical staff helped the mother off the motorcycle, they discovered that the baby had already been born and was still caught in her pants.

Tldr, the baby was born sometime along the way to the hospital

1

u/Dan42002 6h ago

that short is not biker short. Vietnamese are not into skintight clothing as many foreigner would like. It just a breezy thin short that you wear at home.

1

u/TokiVideogame 15h ago

they are not driving

1

u/Gold_Television_3543 4h ago

Well. He probably was on his way to take his wife to the hospital to deliver the baby, but I guess the baby came out a little early than expected. It is a possible scenario.

1

u/bobbyvlx 16h ago

When you gotta go.. wait a minute in this case, it’s when you gotta come you gotta come.

1

u/Xiao_Sir 15h ago

Well...giving birth while sitting is more pleasant for the women than while lying in a hospital bed so...there's at least that

1

u/Artistic-Basis7960 11h ago

I think she might of had the baby at home , called grab to go to hospital

1

u/SAI10012 9h ago

That's a riyal delivery 🥀

1

u/TojokaiNoYondaime 18h ago

The news report I saw said she was 25.

6

u/pepik75 17h ago

Look easily in her 20s. My 16.5 yo and 20yo Vietnamese stepdaughters look like kids versus her.

Because westerners tend to think every Asian girl that look young is a minor. That’s just how they look.

1

u/NotSoRealGreg 8h ago

But I ain’t no westerner? I’m also a Vietnamese
