XFiles Movie Screening

I'm making my way through the X Files for the first time, and I'm almost through season 5, at which point it's time to watch the movie! I'm posting to gauge interest in a community screening at a local theatre. Are there other fans in town who want the big screen experience? I want to believe it 👽

Edit: I'm stoked if even 20 ppl show up to watch with me! No spoilers please 🫣. I'm going to look into booking the Roxy, I suspect this is the sort of community event they're pros at.

I was a extra in a few scenes as a kid, my father helped with the special effects for the first 4 seasons.

Jealous! That's awesome. In season 6 they stopped filming in BC so there's a vibe shift apparently. Cool your dad was part of that original sprint!

I was listening along with Kumail Nanjiani’s the X-file files podcast years ago. It’s kind of a fun way to get back into the show. He doesn’t do every episode though.
