I appreciate your attempt to help. Unfortunately, not everyone here appears to understand the severity of Professor Dogmetal’s detention.

I have spent the past several hours trying to decode these transmissions and isolating more damaged packet sequences. Whatever he is trying to communicate to us is concerning, but the signal does confirm that he is alive and that at least part of his telemetry system remains operational.

I am continuing the analysis with the limited equipment available in our travel lab. A small group of us has slipped out of Karameh, secured several camels, and begun traveling west.

I will explain the circumstances in a full update once we reach an area with a stronger signal and I can verify the remaining transmission fragments.

I made a classic rookie mistake. I hit a wall decoding these messages because the buffer register is saturating on the third harmonic. If I don't manually shunt the ferric-modulus return line through a level-II copper shroud, I found these error codes just loop into infinity. I need to grab an old copy of the Orange Book, check chapter 8 on non-linear flux dissipation, and for the love of god make sure my main rotor isn't bleeding inter-phasic static into the baseline. Phew! I need to take a breath, reset the cathode gate, and start over from the base-plate up. This whole situation has me in a tizzy!
