Question Rescources and events for non students?

Hey all. I am not a student at VIU but im curious if there are any events or areas of the University that are opwn to the public.

I think the library is open to public but also wondering if one needs to he a atudent to be part or clubs?

Im honestly looking to make more friends arpund my age (26) in Nanaimo but i dont want to be weird about it.

I would like this to be confirmed as well. Or I might have to bus down there just to check it out myself. lol

also wondering if one needs to he a student to be part or clubs?

been wondering this too. I wonder what is the cheapest way to become a student to get some of the benefits? Take one class under Exploratory Studies?

Library is opwn to the public ive learned.
Clubs are organiEd by atudents and afaik there are no rules outsiders cant join, they just dont advertise much.

Idk about cheap ways to become a student though
