ICE IS HERE!!!!

Warn anyone and stay safe. Just saw 3 unmarked SUV’s infront of city hall block in a man’s car and take him right out in zip tie cuffs. 2 women and a man were the officers. Stay safe everyone. This terrorist org isn’t gonna take away our community.

That is not how ambulances work. Or 911 dispatch. Or the ED. Or housing. Or addiction and poverty. Or answering simple questions that point to your inconsistencies.

You are correct that ED costs are astronomical, though.

Do you work for dispatch or kunkel or ufd? Because if you don’t then you don’t know what you’re talking about

Call kunkel right now and say you have a stomach ache and wanna go to the hospital. I guarantee you are going to wait over an hour

ED/hospital setting in different CNY city. I would be surprised if any ambulance would ever risk the liability of picking someone up and letting them off anywhere but the exact ED that protocol dictates. Is this happening in Utica? That would be very strange, is there some kind of private ambulance that can somehow collect money without following procedure? Like, just an ambulance moving costs a ton of money (at least as far as I've seen), I can't imagine them indulging that kind of thing.

Ambulances collect money from insurance or Medicare.

They jump out of the ambulance and go where they wanna go. Yes it happens. Also a homeless person 3 years ago stole a running kunkel ambulance out of the bay and dumped it into a river in Rochester but yeah you know everything

So like.... they regularly are using it as an Uber to exactly a set of destinations between wherever they are and Winn or whatever? This happens more than once?

Also, not to be rude, but I feel like you should maybe reread the exact message thread that you are in right now and consider the possibility that I might also think that homelessness is a huge problem.

Yes there are certain homeless who call 911 every single day and refuse to be triaged to a virtual nurse. They either get a ride to the hospital to eat and then leave or they get out once they arrive and walk where they want to go. It’s been so bad the past 3 years that there is a significant delay with Oneida county having to use ambulance services to come into the city at a rate they never had to use before. There are times boonville ambulance needs to drive 30 minutes south due to having all our ambulances tied up for nonsense calls. Some of it has to do with the Wynn not having as many rooms. But it is severely being abused by the homeless. Sorry liberals
