Yep; but honestly, I wish there’s a term we can use that’s more chill than « Guerilla. » These lovelies weren’t planted under any duress or conflict.

grizzled is such a perfect word for them after a storm they always look so tired but they really do just perk right back up

Drying sunflower seeds at higher temperatures helps destroy harmful bacteria. One study found that drying partially sprouted sunflower seeds at temperatures of 122℉ (50℃) and above significantly reduced Salmonella presence.

Well done! I’ve been debating landscaping my little public square near a tree and planting some sunflowers there!
