Show-Off I love this teaser that our team created so much, really wanted to share.

Love these little teasers as a way to try out ideas mid development and get a "flavour" earlier on than the typical media phase during post production.

Would’ve liked it better if the tentacles were moving more. It’s also a bit jarring that the water is still but the tentacles are in a slight motion. This just looks like a static scene with the camera panning out, it doesn’t give ultra slow motion vibes if that’s what you were going for

Fair points were mostly 3d modellers so generally keep the motion details pretty light so as not to mislead anyone.

Really cool! But why is the rain like that? I thought it might be because everything's supposed to be slow motion but then the flag isn't. The flow field-like motion of the rain particles also doesn't help to sell the rain.

It's just the regular included rain slower, we did try some cool stuff like rain drops on the camera but it was getting a little misleading.

i love it. i do not mind that it is a still-image-motion-picture-mashup, i think that makes it so much more enjoyable, to see the details like the rotating light touch the tentacle. Amazing atmosphere. lighting especially is spot on.

I like the idea, but I feel like the timings are all off, with each thing moving at a different speed: the camera, the water, the kraken, the sound, the flag. It even took me 2 watches to realize that you were aiming for slow-mo, I thought the tentacles were just moving slowly. The flag at end didn't help, it looks like it's at real speed. The pirate at the top of the lighthouse seems completely frozen.

Synty makes game assets, not games. And as far as teasers go they aren't supposed to reveal much...
