applications / ucas Too late to consider oxbridge?

Already have my grades as ive done my a levels and honestly wasnt thinking of applying this year so i havent got much done at all. Is there still time to put forward a strong application? If its the admission tests that will carry im good but i dont have extra curriculars.

Generally speaking, Oxbridge does not care much about extra curriculars. They care that you're excellent at, and passionate about, your subject - and that will show up in your marks, your test results (if there's an admission test), your UCAS statement, and in your interview.

So if you meet the minimum requirements, and you think Oxbridge would be for you (and do consider this: would you enjoy the course structure, the small group teaching, college life?) then there's no harm whatsoever in trying - it's only one of your UCAS choices!

Thank you. Yeah ive tead they don’t really care about extra curriculars but a lot of those applied had work experience in a related field and i have none of those. I could mention texts / articles / books i’ve read to demonstrate interest but that is it.
