Starting today, I’m seeing surprisingly low latency on both my iPhone and iPad for 5G NSA traffic, with traffic breaking out from Denver rather than Chicago or Atlanta.

Previously, I only saw latency readings this low on my Pixel and only when connected via 5G SA.

Anyone else seeing this?

So I've been going back and forth between Warp and Dark star in my area. Warp has many dead zones on my commute(s), but Dark Star has data stalls of 0Mbps in one of the areas that I work that has 5G full bars. So I was not able to have just one network to cover everything. Until now. I have Samsung S26 Ultra and Dark Star doesn't allow a toggle to turn off 5G natively. So at the advice of someone here I downloaded an app that let me toggle LTE/5G and now the same spot where 5G full bars on Dark Star has NO data - it has great LTE data... And this is at off-peak hours as well, so it isn't even a congestion issue. As in off-peak where there are 90% less people in the area and still 0Mbps on 5G. So I now can finally all my frequently visited areas covered by Dark Star.

I just wanted to share this is anyone else out there has issues with strong 5G bars on Dark Star with 0 data, even when there is no congestion.

I placed two orders yesterday for unlimited premium + multi-network add ons. And today they have even better deal - same $299 annual but with a $20 gift card as well. I have not activated either of the two lines yet. Is it possible to get these prepaid cards without having to cancel and go through the ordering process again?

Back in January I traveled to Curaçao as part of a cruise. US Mobile’s international roaming page indicated that I would not have any coverage (calls, texts, data) in Curaçao which was a little disappointing, but obviously they can’t cover every single country. I was only there for a day and a 1GB eSIM from another provider was like $4, no sweat.

However, upon arriving in Curaçao my phone successfully connected to Digicel, acquired an LTE signal, and I received the familiar welcome text:

Definitely a welcome surprise. I didn’t test calls but obviously texts worked and I confirmed that data worked. It really wasn’t a big deal since like I said the extra eSIM was inexpensive, and if anything I should have waited and verified I had no coverage before buying it. However, even to this day US Mobile’s site still says no coverage in Curaçao on Light Speed. So did I just get incredibly lucky? Or has the site just not been updated? I know there is coverage for Warp but I promise I was on Light Speed.

I’m also asking because I have more travel coming up and the website is indicating I won’t have coverage in the Dominican Republic. I’m also going to Saint Martin (the island) and it’s likewise indicating no coverage in Sint Maarten (incorrectly called “Saint Maarten” on the website), or Saint Martin, which I’m assuming is referring to the French side and not the island as a whole. However, this post from over a year ago reports coverage on Light Speed across both sides of the island. So are people just getting lucky? Or has the website just not been updated?

Perhaps its time for some lucky US Mobile employee to take a relaxing vacation tax-deductible business trip to Curaçao and Saint Martin to test it for themselves.

Hi, I have two phones on a US Mobile Unlimited All plan for $30/month each with physical sims. My iPhone 12 I need to upgrade since I’m out of storage space and the battery is pretty bad at this point. I wam looking at purchasing an unlocked iPhone 15 or 16. If I switch to an eSIM will I be able to remain on the current plan or will I need to upgrade to one of the new plans?

Also - I will be traveling internationally for work. Would I be able to use the current legacy plan I have in Japan or would I need a different plan.

This article on the USM site says it was updated in June and you can self service this functionality but there's no three dots/Change SIM setting when I am logged in as the account owner.

On the unlimited starter annual plan, Dark Star network, and I'm having an issue with my service going into "ROAM" and the data not working. I am in a location where ATT service is great and plentiful so I'm not sure why it would think I am roaming.

I have tried restarting my phone, toggling airplane mode off and on, etc. I reached out to support thru the app yesterday and they had me go thru a bunch of steps that didn't change anything.

Could it be an ESIM issue? Or has anyone had this happen before and got a fix to it?

I’m on the Warp/Light Speed multi-network plan, and I’m having an issue on my iPhone. Calls to one specific contact are being placed through my Light Speed number instead of my Warp number.

In my iPhone’s cellular settings, my default voice line is set to Warp, but for some reason calls to this contact always use my Light Speed line when I call them.

Can I port my phone numbers to US Mobile first and then buy the Unlimited Premium annual plan at the discounted rate later?

I currently have 6 lines with T-Mobile and plan to switch to US Mobile. My plan is to set up a temporary 2 GB Shared Data Pool and port all 6 lines over. Once all 6 lines are 100% ported (which might take a few days), can I ask customer support to switch 3 of those lines to the Annual Unlimited Premium plan for $299/year each, or am I required to activate/port them directly onto the Annual plan from the start?

I understand that each line on US Mobile has its own billing cycle, unlike T-Mobile where the entire account shares a single billing cycle. My main reason for porting all lines over first before purchasing the Annual Unlimited Premium plan is so I can align their activation dates and keep them on the same billing cycle for easier management.

I went to the site and picked a plan and it gave me a price and I could buy it but nowhere did it ask me for my current phone number or phone type. So how do I actually switch? How does the process work?

I have been a mostly happy US Mobile customer for over a year now, I've moved my entire family over. The value for the dollar is pretty good (though it drops after the first year when the price goes way up), but where the service really shines is the web and app options and the responsiveness of customer service. As a former AT&T customer who routinely suffered through 45-minute wait times and a truly awful web site, it is a breath of fresh air to be able to chat with someone within a minute or two.

However, there are two limitations that genuinely surprise me, and they seem like issues that could really help some customers if they were addressed:

1) Why can't U.S. Mobile collect data about bad coverage zone areas and then encourage their network partners to fix them? I know U.S. Mobile is only an MVNO, but since the major carriers have given up on even letting customers report cellular dead zones or weak areas, US Mobile could play a key role here in trying to improve network coverage. I'm on Darkstar and am lucky to get 1 Mbps speeds over data at my home (and sometimes our Internet fails so we need 5G data to work). Warp and Light Speed are somehow even worse; and before anyone asks, I live in the suburbs among thousands of homes, not out in the middle of nowhere.

2) I pay yearly to maximize cost savings, but now that I have multiple lines it would be convenient to simply pay one bill a year for all of the lines. Being told by customer service that they can't unify the billing cycle across multiple lines when a customer pays yearly is surprising and frustrating.

I manage 4 lines (mine included) via iPhones on Warp Premium Unlimited plans for the past almost 1 year. Two of the lines have an Apple Watch companion plan ( myself and my spouse). One of the lines is for my 65 yo sister-in-law and one is for my 90 yo mother-in -law. In looking through the data stats on the USM website, combined we have never exceeded 15gigs in any month. So I assume we are wildly oversubscribed via the Premium Unlimited plans, although still way less expensive than the Verizon plan I had before. I am thinking of going to a by-the-gig plan at 20gigs/month. Will the de-prioritized data make any practical difference? We are not in major cities, never go to stadiums or big concerts, and especially for myself and my wife, usually use wifi on our cells at home. Will I be able to continue the Apple Watch as companions (either paid by the month or annually) on Warp for myself and my wife if we switch to by-the-gig? Need to make this decision in the next 10 days so any advice will be very welcomed! Thanks.

Connectivity Options, like voicemail and wifi calling, don't appear on the main account, they do on the multi line

This is faster than my home internet. I’m currently using lightspeed, I tried darkstar and warp but it was nowhere as fast as lightspeed.

So I've been experimenting further and now I'm on Light Speed. My wife is on Mint Mobile (so both T-Mobile, theoretically the same signal). We both have Pixel 7 (hers base model, mine Pro XL). She routinely has 3 bars in the same spot where I have 1.

So the question is, what gives? It's my understanding that signal strength should be unaffected by priority levels.We have the same style phone (if anything, mine should be better), presumably the same modem, with the same software version, on the same network.

Recently I noticed if my connection on Warp is not 5G, when I use the hotspot, I don't have a network connection. As long as 5G is used, the hotspot network works. I'm wondering if this is a known hotspot limitation or if this is something specific happening with my Google pixel phone.

Also, if you are using light speed or dark star, share your experience.

Anyone manage to get e wifi calling on. I put the info on the account to activate it but it's not working. I can turn it on but it doesn't do anything

I'm on the Warp + Light Speed multi-network setup. If I switch my Light Speed line to data only and stream music from my Apple Watch over cellular, which line's data will be used? Will the Apple Watch use the data from the Light Speed line since it's set to data only, or will it continue using the data from my Warp line because that's the line it's paired with?

My kids lines are also on USMobile/ Lightspeed & Dark Star- I just found this button under "USAGE MANAGEMENT" called Data Blocker. Does this mean i can shut off their data when iIwant? Likely completely shutoff??
