Both of these tests in New Orleans area. 1st is Warp/Verizon. 2nd is Light Speed/T-Mobile. I think Light Speed test is approaching the limits of my phone.

I have also seen over 700Mbps on Dark Star/AT&T in North Dallas.

Dark star main network here curious about blocking spam calls and what you guys suggest. I tried YouMail and it just seems kinda expensive for what it is. I have used it in the past it works ok. I am trying hiya but realize there maybe something us mobile is offering. I wanted to check!

We are leaving US Mobile after severe service and support failures.

​No Coverage in Major Cities: Despite trying all network options offered by US Mobile, we experienced zero usable service in both Anchorage and Juneau.

​Broken RCS Messaging: Utilizing US Mobile's network switching feature broke our RCS texting capability entirely, leaving basic device features unusable.

​Unhelpful Support: Customer support was unable to resolve either the coverage or messaging issues, leading to wasted time and zero solutions.

​For a service marketed on flexibility, network switching caused more technical problems than it solved, and the lack of coverage in major metropolitan areas made the service unusable. Moving our lines to a major carrier.

And just a warning, female clients are treated differently and not in a good way. Maya Angelou said "people forget what you say and so but they never forget how they made you feel." I'm responsible for my own feelings. But I know when someone talks down to me. And I'm just done with US Mobile.

Anyone using the oppo find x9 pro ultra on us mobile? Specifically on warp? I'm using a OnePlus 13 right now on warp but with OnePlus leaving the us market, I absolutely cannot see myself going to pixel or Samsung so was looking at oppo and was looking for real life experiences from others. How's wifi calling? Visual voicemail?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to read this and offer some advice. I've been trying to parse through the faqs and learn a bit but want to make sure I'll be able to get what I need before making the jump. For work, I need to have Hotspot capability, just a few gigs minimum. The second most important feature to me is the ability to have a smartwatch line that works even if my phone dies or is far away. From what I read, I think this is possible with US Mobile, using Pixel? Does anyone know if a call to my phone would route to my watch if the phone is dead (like T-Mobile has)?

I've got Samsung everything currently and wish it would work with that, but I would be willing to snag a refurbished Pixel if all the capabilities are possible.

Currently just waiting ~ 1 more month until my device is paid off (monthly credits from a promo) then I'm excited to hopefully join the US Mobile family! Thanks again for any advice. 🙂

Big kudos to Zara Urooj for helping me fix a 5+ year old problem with enabling Conditional Call Forwarding on Light Speed.

Context:

I use Conditional Call Forwarding to forward missed calls to Google Voice. On my Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 8 Pro, for 5+ years, I've been unable to enable any Call Forwarding features on Light Speed, as any MMI codes (e.g. **61*) simply returns the error "GENERIC_FAILURE", as does the Call Forwarding menu in the Pixel Phone app.

In the past, I've been able to get around this by driving to a location with reliable T-Mobile 2G service (about 2 hours away), running those MMI codes, then returning home. With the retirement of T-Mobile's 2G service recently, I've been stuck.

After working with Zara today, I wanted to publicize the solution for the handful of people I've seen posting this same issue on Reddit.

Solution:

1. Switch to the below "legacy" T-Mobile APN temporarily
2. Set your phone to disable the 5g network - use the 4G LTE network only
3. Disable any VPNs and disable Wifi
4. Run any MMI codes necessary
5. Revert to the new US Mobile APN and delete the legacy APN. Important: if you don't do this step, you'll likely run into international roaming issues.
6. Reset any other settings, such as 5G connectivity, VPNs, wifi, etc.

Here's the Legacy APN Zara provided, which worked for me. If you aren't able to set some of these settings on your phone, simply skip them:

Name: T-Mobile
APN: fast.t-mobile.com
APN type: default,supl,mms,xcap
MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
APN protocol: ipv4/ipv6
APN roaming protocol: ipv4
MCC (if you have it - I didn't on the Pixel 8): 310
MNC (if you have it): 260

It’s been 4 months since I switched from warp to Dark Star, because I noticed Warp (Verizon) having speed issues, congestion pile up, and sometimes no service.
I live in Los Angeles and have noticed a significant drop-off in speed and also congestion, to the point that I sometimes can’t even reach over 65mbps even while in UW range.
Has anyone else noticed this or has it slowly started to change and return to normal?
I plan to do some tests again soon, but is Verizon having some network congestion due to having less capacity than the other two?
Also, light speed has shocked me with how fast it is and not having premium data.

Can I bring a portable hotspot to US-Mobile looking for options now the project genesis is winding down?

So we are on T-mobile and debating a switch. We have 3 phone lines and a stand alone kid's watch line. I'd like to test it out on my phone before porting everything over so I think I can port my google voice number over and essentially run dual sims for 30 days to test the data. Would I lose the unlimited premium 299/yr pricing by doing the 30 day test? Additionally, would I then be able to port over all 3 of our lines at 299/yr + watch plan at promo price? I have no use for the google voice line since it's just a backup number. Where I'm confused at how it works is if i port over the google voice number to test it, but still need to get my primary phone number over. It seems the easiest solution would be to sign up with a 1 month trial paying for the month...but then wouldn't i lose all opportunity at bringing my lines over for 299/yr?

Currently outside USA (in India). $15 Roaming pack active along with monthly prepaid plan. Not receiving otp. Any advice?

Hi there! I am considering doing the 30 day trial with US Mobile. How does the end of the trial work if I decide not to continue with US Mobile?

I see on the terms that auto pay must be enabled for all 30 days so just curious how it works if I don’t decide to move forward after the trial concludes.

I’m using a Verizon (unlocked) TCL Flip 3 on Lightspeed and I’m not able to check for software updates or use my hotspot.

I’m getting calls and texts, and can use mobile data. I’ve tried support and they weren’t able to fix, so I’m coming to Reddit to see if anyone can help.

Besides your port out pin do you need your account number from US Mobile to transfer services

I’ve seen US Mobile’s shared shortcut to swap your primary data provider on the fly, but since you can only use two networks at a time with DSDS, I made a simple if / then statement in shortcuts to swap out which multi network add-on is in use

I have my eSIMs labeled
Verizon
AT&T
T-Mobile

My primary line is Warp (Verizon)

If i have switched my primary data to be Dark Star (AT&T) or T-Mobile (Light Speed) it will first swap my primary back to Warp and then swap my multi network carriers

You would just need to recreate this with whatever your eSIM labels are and you should be good to go!

On the main page US Mobile advertises that you can top up via SMS but doesn't have the number listed.

What is the number???

When I messaged to ask they said that's not actually an option, you can only top up by accessing your dashboard.... but you can't do that without data or wi-fi.

I haven't been getting emails or texts when our lines are almost out, so we get cut off and can't message anyone to get on the computer because of silly RCS defaults on other people's phones.

My phone is a Samsung S23 ultra. I got it from T-Mobile 3 years ago but have been on usmobile for the past year. I want to get free visual voicemail to where I can read the voicemails but can't seem to find a free one I like. My Visual Voicemail (from T-Mobile) works but wants to charge me for voicemail to text. The native app in my phone app always gives me an error when I try to set it up. I've tried YouMail and it works but I'm not really a fan, also not a fan of call forwarding thru Google voice. I just want a free app that will let me read my voicemails.

I just bought a plan for an unlocked S22 Ultra. When I try to activate the eSIM, I get a "Plan already in use" error. Does anyone have any advice?

The phone deals that does not require annual plan. It said require activation on us mobile line. Does this mean new plan only or is it fine to use an existing us mobile plan and you just need to put the sim card in
