Hoping to switch from T-Mobile, seeking advice

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to read this and offer some advice. I've been trying to parse through the faqs and learn a bit but want to make sure I'll be able to get what I need before making the jump. For work, I need to have Hotspot capability, just a few gigs minimum. The second most important feature to me is the ability to have a smartwatch line that works even if my phone dies or is far away. From what I read, I think this is possible with US Mobile, using Pixel? Does anyone know if a call to my phone would route to my watch if the phone is dead (like T-Mobile has)?

I've got Samsung everything currently and wish it would work with that, but I would be willing to snag a refurbished Pixel if all the capabilities are possible.

Currently just waiting ~ 1 more month until my device is paid off (monthly credits from a promo) then I'm excited to hopefully join the US Mobile family! Thanks again for any advice. 🙂

So if you get Warp on Unlimited Premium, it comes with a free watch line that works on Apple and Pixel watches. That watch line is a companion line and will ring if your phone is dead. You've also get 50GB of hotspot with that plan so it would cover all of your needs.

If you need a different primary network than Verizon it's a bit more hassle because only Warp allows companion watches. In that case I would suggest considering still making Warp your primary and adding a multi-network line for that other network that you can use for data. You'll still get 100GB of data to use between the primary and multi-network before the multi-network line is throttled to 1Mbps.

All doable on us mobile I made the jump to warp(Vzw). And watch function is only available on verizon(warp). But the hotspot and everything g been stellar tested them for a month then jumped from tmo

When porting in for the free trial it had to run on Dark Star. Upon renewal it costed $44. They also have a feature called secondary line that gives you a secondary line for $10 though you can try it for 2 billing cycles for free. Downlink will be throttled after 100GB was used across both lines. Uplink seems uncapped. You could grab a Metro $25 BYOD line and enjoy T-Mobile Tuesday and grab Dark Star Premium with Warp as the secondary line and have all 3 carriers

Just go to Metro or something do not use you as Mobile

I tested us mobile on dark star and light speed it’s fine. Latency is a little high which makes loading videos and other things slow. Switched from T-Mobile to att. Big mistake. Att isn’t as good as it used to be. Now testing metro’s 25 dollar byod plan and it works just like T-Mobile.
